Israel threatens Iran with destruction

Monday, April 7th, 2008

An Israeli minister has threatened Iran with destroying the country if the Islamic Republic launches ‘an attack on the regime’.

“An Iranian attack against Israel would trigger a tough reaction that would lead to the destruction of the Iranian nation,” National Infrastructure Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer said, AFP reported Monday.

The minister, a member of prime minister Ehud Olmert’s security cabinet, stressed however that Iran was unlikely to attack as “they understand the meaning of such an act.”

The threats come amid speculations that the Israeli regime is preparing for another war in the Middle East.

Israel has taken steps to isolate Iran in the international community alleging that the country has threatened it with annihilation, after the Iranian President called for the ouster of the regime.

I believe this war is inevitable as per Biblical prophecy. I hate to consider the carnage it will bring to both sides. It will affect the whole world as we don’t live in isolated communities any more

If Buddhists owned the Middle East, they would be ‘the enemies’ instead! This power struggle is all about greed and land grabbing. People need to stand up and stop this childish behaviour, before the earth itself is finished by these power hungry people.

Now is the right time for the US to go to war with Iran, they can employ as soldiers the hundreds of thousands who lost their jobs brought by this financial crisis. This will bring more money to “Idiot Bush” friends in the military hardware industry. Might help the Refucklicans in the presidential election. Nya ha ha.

Is the Fascist state of Israel at it again - threatening its peaceful neighbours?

So let me see if I have this correct, Israel lost the war against Isbulla but it now threatens Russia and China backed Iran. MMmmm!!

May I make a polite plea for sanity here? Iran has never been beaten.

If NAZI Israel attacks Iran, and peaceful DEMOCRATIC Iran (yes they do have elections) does decide to retaliate by blocking off the oil from the gulf, how long would Israel last with poisoned water supplies, no fish, no food, poisoned crops and Isbulla again attacking causing 2 fronts?

And seeing as the Bible is purely a work of fiction stories (Bullshit) would it not be wise to ignore such piffle and instead use Common Sense as opposed to brainwashed Religious diatribe logic?

Since were in the bible does it mention Americans fighting anywhere in the middle east? Indeed, America was not even as state until over 1000 years after the bible garbage was scribbled.

In fact the founding fathers warned against fighting in foreign wars for one very good reason. Can anyone see a problem with the US economy? Is it in meltdown perhaps? Is nobody buying any American goods and are they selling all their American stocks & bonds?

Stop preaching bible bullshit and state living in peace.

Iran has never attacked anybody and never will.

Maximus seems to be in love with the ayatollahs ruling Iran so I think I should repeat what I’ve said before:

If a fascist group allows you to choose from its various factions, can that be called elections? In Iran, no opposition party -left, right or centre - is allowed by the religious fascist regime ruling Iran to even mourn their members and supporters murdered by the rgime let alone stand elections. Therefore, anyone who argues that the ruling dictatorship represents the people there even in the slightest is either completely ignorant or has some kind of interest in keeping the regime in power there. That’s why the regime doesn’t accept free elections under UN supervision.

Maximus is right while commenting on another article by saying that the CIA have gone against democracy all over the world for over 50 years. The US and UK conspired together and brought down the democratically elected Iranian Prime Minister, Dr Mosadegh, under the Shah by organising thugs in a coup-de-tat which eventually brought the ayatollahs to power as all democratic party leaders were either executed or imprisoned and tortured by the Shah’s secret police, SAVAK.

Furthermore, the US and European governments are helping the mullahs right now by putting the main Iranian democratic opposition group, the People’s Mojahedin Organisation of Iran (PMOI - AKA Mojahedin-e Khalgh) on the list of terrorist organisations on the ayatollahs’ request and despite rulings by the highest courts in UK and Europe to delist them, they are still being demonised as terrorists. The UK ruling by the highest court of appeal actually forced the British Government appeasers of the ayatollahs to take that organisation off the list.

Presently, hundreds of MPs, lords and senators from all democratic parties in the West are pressing the US and European governments to deproscribe the group so it can organise the people towards ending the rule of terror.

Does Maximus want to live under the ayatollahs? I don’t. The mediaeval theocratic dictatorship is so corrupt that so as to keep in power it led to death hundreds of thousands of Iranians in its war against Iraq which also led to death of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. The most so-called “moderate” leader in Iran, i.e. Khatami, was actually in charge of sending thousands of children over the minefields.

Furthermore, the regime has actually murdered or tortured to death tens of thousands of mainly Muslim Iranians including hundreds of children as young as 13 for their love of freedom, political, religious, personal and otherwise. Maximus, please have a look on the Amnesty International or any other human rights organisation’s website and feel ashamed at your support for the fascists ruling Iran.

This regime cannot even accept people basic personal freedoms especially women’s freedom to choose their own clothes and is incapable of being called a government as it cannot sort out the social and economic problems such as rampant inflation and massive unemployment and poverty.

The regime kept its nuclear programme secret for 18 years till the Iranian opposition revealed it and its true nature of weapons development to the world. The West and Russia recognise Iran’s right to have peaceful nuclear progamme and have offered it many insentives, even- shamefully- by keeping its main opposition on the list of terrorist organisations to allow full inspections. But the regime has rejected all concessions because it wants the bomb because it falsely believes it will guarantee its survival.

In a similar fashion to the way the people of Norway, France, etc, were helped to regain their freedom against Hitler, the Iranian nation also need support to get rid of this fanatical fascism. So for humanity’s sake and Iranian people’s freedom, we need to stop this sickening flirting with murdering fanatical thugs blackening the name of the great religion of Islam and the reputation of an ancient civilization and the beautiful and hospitable people of Iran. The regime is killing people all over the Middle East as well coalition troops in Afghanistan and Iraq and threatening the peace of the world with support for terrorists of all kinds and now speeding towards the nuclear bomb. So we should agree with Stanley when he wrote in his comment:

Stop the war against Iran; stop the terrorist regime in Iran!

We should also declare: Support the people of Iran to gain their freedom and democracy; that’s the only way to stop another bloody war in the Middle East.

America and the UK did destroyed DEMOCRACY in Iran under Dr Mosadegh. I would like nothing better than for a return to that era prior to American Criminality.

No, I do not support the regime in Iran, just like I did not like Saddam in Iraq either (both put there by the US)

The title of this item is:

    Israel threatens Iran with destruction.

What I dislike are NAZIS. I don’t care if they are NAZIJEWS or NEOCONS. It is very true the Iranian regime (although they do have elections) are far from ideal, however, they are far, far better than the regime in Saudi Arabia for example.

It is a FACT - Iran has never invaded anybody. Period!

Indeed, Iran has never ever verbally threatened anybody with invasion. Period

If Israel attacks Iran it will be the outright aggressor, as Iran is perfectly entitled and legally entitled to develop Nuclear power 24/7.

Israel should stop supplying war criminal states such as Georgia with weapons and stop threatening its neighbours.

If anything, it is Israel’s 100+ nuclear weapons and dirty bombs which threaten middle east peace, not the Iranian’s peaceful nuclear program.

Israel should stop acting like dirty NAZIS; give full compensation for the land they have thieved, and stop lying about every terrorist act they do such as bombing women and children in Palestinian territories.

We in the west should not be interfering directly in middle east affairs. How would we like it if they came here and started to tell us what to do?

If Isreal started treating others such as the palistinians with some respect it would go a long way to securing both Israel and the middle east. But seeing as Israel is a NAZI permanent war state - that simple solution is not going to happen any time soon.

Good luck with your stupid destructive never ending war and may the best side win (or the least stupid).

Thank you maximus for accepting that the regime in Iran is “far from ideal”. But it seems you fail to understand that the so called “elections” in Iran are only a farce to fool people outside Iran and to give its paid lobbyists and appeasers such as multinational oil companies the excuse to say exactly what you say. At least 90% of Iranian people have an explosive hatred of this religious fascist regime and redicule its “elections”. Even if you listen to the regime’s own leaders and candidates such as Rafsanjani, they speak of mass rigging of millions of ballot papers; and this is only a selection procedure amongst fundamentalists.

The question of being better than Saudi Arabia, or any other country, any country’s progress or regression can only be measured against its own track record. For example, we can’t say the UK is better than Saudi Arabia; we can only analyse the British governments’ performance and achievements in comparison to what was before. In this context, any neutral observer would testify that the Iranian fundamentalist fascist thugs usurping power in Iran have reversed more than 100 years of progress especially regarding women’s and children’s rights in Iran. Therefore, in a realistic analysis the regime is worse than any other government in the world. The regime has murdered and executed tens of thousands of people and many times more than even China even though China’s population is 1.3 billion and Iran’s is 73 million.

No state in the world even Israel is so barbaric towards its own people or even their “enemies”.

Furthermore, regarding invasion of other countries, milions of Iraqi people believe that there are two occupying forces in their country and fear the Iranian theorcratic fascists more. This is such a strong feeling that over 7000,000,000 Iraqis of all persuations have signed petitions declaring that the Iranian opposition should be supported to stop the growing threat of the Iranian fascists in Iraq and ouster the Iranian ruling mullahs.

Also the regime supports Al-Quaeda leaders and protects them in Iran, arms the Taliban, has invaded Lebanon with its “Revolutionary” Guards and has practically invaded Palestinian land by arming, training and financing Hemas who took control following the killing of hundreds of moderate Palestinians.

Finally, you blow out of proportion a former Israeli official’s threat against Iran whilst easily forget to mention that not only the former but also thecurrent leaders of the regime have in the past thirty years threatend to wipe Israel off the map and been actively supporting terrorist suicide bombers kill and maime Israeli civilians. The Iranian regime has gone against all peace efforts by the international community as well as Israelis and Palestinians. Many leaders of both the government of Israel and the Palestinian authority have joined ranks and spoken time and again against the Iranian fundamentalists’ campaign against the peace process between the two communities by supporting the terrorists. Both entities are in negotiations which the fascists ruling Iran are trying to destroy.

So it is time for you and others like you to wake up and recognise that the main threat to the peace and prosperity of the people in the Middle East and the new global threat to humanity is the “Islamist” fundamentalist fascism which is going against UN resolutions whilst speeding towards the atomic bomb. If you care for humanity, peace and human rights and want to avoid another bloody war, you should join and encourage others to join the thousands and stilll growing numbers of democratic personalities, law lords, MPs, Lords, Senators and Congressmen and statesmen who believe that by supporting the Iranian people’s resistance and its head, President Maryam Rajavi of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, to bring democracy to Iran, they will also secure peace in the Middle East and beyond.

Iran should sort out Iranian internal problems, and do it through peaceful dialogue. That is not the focus of this particular item.

Israel has publicly threatened Iran with violence claiming Iran’s nuclear power program can be weaponised and then used to threaten Isreal.

At the same time Israel is condemning the Iranian nuclear program it is making Nuclear weapons and Dirty bombs numbering over 100 +.

So, who is the most serious nuclear threat to the middle east?

Pakistan and Israel are FAR FAR more of a threat to world peace than Iran at this particular point in time.

Israel is behaving like a punch drunk larger lout who has been beaten up by Isabula and is now wildly swinging its fists blindly in a dis functional and quite frankly barbaric fashion.

Israel threatening Iran, is like a gun and knife toting drunken YOB threatening a law abiding citizen who has serious domestic issues.

Maximus, thank you for not repeating your wrong assertion that there are “elections” in Iran. And thank you for not suggesting that the murderous ayatollahs are better than other governments.

This particular item is misleading its readers by suggesting that a former Israeli official’s assertion is the Israeli Government’s position. Moreover, it does not mention the fact that all former and current terrorists ruling Iran have time and again called for Israel’s destruction and logistically support, arm, train, finance and dispatch self-destructing terrorist bombers who’ve murdered numerous innocent Israeli, Iraqi, lebanese, Afghan and other civilians.

Any sane and knowledgeable human being would be against nuclear arms used by any country be it the UK, US or Israel, etc. Period.

The reasons that the civilised world does not pressure Israel regarding its nuclear armaments are basically two fold:
First: It’s powerful and highly successful lobbyists.
Second: It’s not a signatory to the nuclear non- proliferation treaty (NTP).

The thugs ruling Iran have serious issues against humanity and belong to the dark ages. They’ve carried out mass terrorist attacks throughout the world including in Europe, Africa, Asia and America. They want to have their cakes and eat them too. They have signed up to the NPT but don’t abide, as they’ve signed up to so many other pieces of international laws and treaties but don’t abide.

The barbarians occupying Iran do not even abide by their own laws let alone international laws. They’ve been condemned more than 50 times by the UN for its violation of human rights and rights of religious and ethnic minorities as well as its terrorism and obstruction of the Middle East peace process.

The US and other major world powers have thousands of nuclear bombs but they are not terrorists and the world does not feel too threatened by Russia, UK, etc. The reason the civilised world oppose the regime’s quest for the bomb - above all else - is its terrorist nature which has brought chaos to the world even before getting the bomb.

So, open your eyes and don’t let your prejudices blind you to the most barbaric regime currently in power in the world that is openly campaigning for an Ottoman-type empire as well as, not like lager louts but as sober terrorists, are threatening and actively being involved against world peace. Period.

Does anyone else like this analogy?

Israel threatening Iran, is like a gun and knife toting drunken YOB threatening a law abiding citizen who has serious domestic issues.

    Arash, you claim Quote:

“This particular item is misleading its readers by suggesting that a former Israeli official’s assertion is the Israeli Government’s position. Moreover, it does not mention the fact that all former and current terrorists ruling Iran have time and again called for Israel’s destruction and logistically support, arm, train, finance and dispatch self-destructing terrorist bombers who’ve murdered numerous innocent Israeli, Iraqi, Lebanese, Afghan and other civilians.”

Please provide EVIDENCE - when did Iran threaten Israel?

Who in Iran threatened Israel and when - give us the reference please?

The only people who claim Iran has threatened Israel is the untrustworthy Israeli owned media and it was so twisted and slanted it was nothing but bare faced lies and propaganda!

Regarding the stuff about terrorists in the middle east, you clearly forget to mention Israeli arming Georgian terrorists who recently attacked South Ossetian Russian women & children and the bombing of civilians in Palestine - were they the actions of a truly open Democratic state, or that of a sneaky backstabbing NAZI war criminals which is the Israeli Regime?

Maximus, I can’t believe you actually asked the question “Who in Iran threatened Israel and when?” Do you watch TV, read radio broadcasts, or actually read any broadsheets or news agency reports such as those by Reuters and Associated Press or others throughout the world? This aspect of the Iranian regime’s behaviour –i.e. threats against Israel - is very well covered due to the powerful lobbyists I talked about before.

The media are full of quotes from Iranian terrorist leaders’outbursts and threats against Israel,US and Britain. Ever since the big charlatan of the century, Khomeini, stole the leadership of the Iranian people’s revolution for freedom and independence, they have been shouting, death to America, death to Israel and on many occasions death to Russia and England - They never refer to either the UK or Great Britain. Khomeini said: “If one Israeli finger touches the water in an open sea, all the oceans of the world will become filthy.”

Rafsanjani said: “One atomic bomb would destroy Israel.”. He forgot to add that it would also destroy all Palestinians and other Arabs living in and around Israel. The present supremely barbaric leader, Khomeini, only two days ago threatened Israel again saying there is no difference between the Israeli Government and Israeli people so no one should talk about Israeli people.

The mass murderer, Ahmadinejad, who has personally shot the coup-de-grace and killed hundreds of defenceless prisoners, and the terrorist regime’s present so-called President, has time and again denied the holocaust in Hitler’s Germany and talked about “wiping Israel off the map” of the world.

International Herald Tribune; Thursday, October 27, 2005
TEHRAN: Iran’s conservative new president,Ahmadinejad, said Wednesday that Israel must be “wiped off the map” and that attacks by Palestinians would destroy it, the ISNA press agency reported. (ISNA is one of the regime’s news agencies.)

If I had more time, I could find many more quotes.
The chief terrorist Ahmadinejad has repeated his outbursts against Israel so many times that other than Western and other Government leaders condemning him time and again, the UN Secretary General has officially criticised the regime for their desire to destroy another UN member.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m against occupation of any territory by any power and support for terrorists by anyone. And the American blank cheque to Israelis is not really helping the Middle East peace process either.

I’m getting to feel that you don’t really care about humanity or human rights including those of Palestinians because by blindly opposing one party in the Middle East peace process, you are in effect siding with the fascist thugs ruling Iran whose opposition against the peace process exactly mirrors yours.

There’s an old Persian proverb saying, “the bowl cannot be hotter than the soup!” Besides those Palestinian terrorists and their leaders who are armed, financed and dispatched by the Iranian mullahs, all the Palestinian leaders recognise Israel. I’ve previously talked of both Israeli and Palestinian leaders talking against the Iranian mullahs’ support for terrorists. Therefore, who are you or the turbaned-Nazi-fascists in Iran to oppose one side of the negotiations so viciously?

But Maximus, you miss the whole point. There are many terrorists in the world and some states that support them. You and people like you hear about them all the time all over the media.

I’ve given so many instances of the regime’s actual present involvement in terrorism throughout the world and not mere threats. I’ve talked about crimes against humanity going unheard of. I’ve given you and anyone who really cares about logical analyses as well as numerous instances of the regime’s war against humanity and you still find one Israeli’s verbal threats against Iran worse than all of the “Iranian” theocratic fascists’ terrorist activities throughout the world? If you want more evidence, the Argentinean President in her speech in the UN only this month has asked for trial of 5 leaders of the Iranian regime including Rafsanjani for the terrorist bombing of a community centre in Argentina ten years ago in which 85 people lost their lives. By the way even the Interpol eventualy issued arrest warrents for these terrorism organisers.

What I am trying to do is to highlight the new global threat – i.e. the “Islamist” fundamentalist fascism using terrorism and murdering tens of thousands of people in Iran and throughout the world which is being massively ignored by the mass media due to the billions of dollars of oil money the big oil companies and others are getting out of the fascists’ rule in Iran. This has led to the thugs being so emboldened that they ignore the UN, IAEA, and Security Council and the civilised world and are speeding towards the atomic bomb to hold the whole world - and not just the Americans - hostage.

So here, I rest my case and let all decent and caring human beings who read this to decide for themselves by reiterating what I said before:

Stop the war against Iran; stop the terrorist regime in Iran!
Support the people of Iran and their true President, Madame Rajavi, to gain their freedom and democracy and peaceful co-existence in the Middle East and the world!

Oh my gosh . After reading this i have such a migraine that i think that i have burst a blood vessel ! . Nobody wants a nuclear war , nobody in their right minds except the NEOCONS and ZIONISTS . Did i hear someone mention that israel were PEACEFUL . they were not even in existance if you go back 60yrs . The israeli people may be peace loving but those that RULE i mean RUN israel and that would be , now listen carefully boys and girls ‘THE U.K. AND THE U.S’ Who fund israel to the tune of billions a year . So iran cannot have nuclear weapons but the U.S. and the U.K. ‘FUND ISRAELS NUCLEAR ARSNAL’ , but that’s ok it’s permissible ,it’s acceptable ‘BECAUSE WE MADE IT AND WE ARE STILL FUNDING IT’ . How would you like to be kicked out of your house and told that you can live in the garrage at the bottom of the garden , but yet you must get permission to go in and out of that garrage , that is what happens everyday to the palastinians . Oh but the palastinians are terrorists killing innocent israelies with their suicide bombers and small rocketts , AGAINST THE BEST ARMED AND EQUIPPED NATION FOR IT’S SIZE IN THE MIDDLE EAST YES KILLING IN ANY FORM IS WRONG ESPECIALLY TERRORIST ORGANISASIONS - THAT IS WRONG PERIOD! . But please tell me why STATE SPONSORED TERRORISM IS ACCEPTABLE , ANYONE? .

Kline, after you’ve had your bypass to repair your burst blood vessel and I wish you luck with that, you’ll realise that the reason you burst it was because you missed the point!

State terrorism by Israel against Palestinians or any other state terrorism is wrong. The point is that - and I’m going to be very brief so that you don’t burst another blood vessel- that Palestinian leaders themselves are negotiating with Israel and both sides have condemned the Iranian regime’s support for Palestinian terrorists to scupper the peace process. The regime’s support for Palestinian terrorists and violent opposition to the Middle East peace process plays into the hands of the ultra-right-wing Zionists who use this to push forward their own terrorism and agenda. So even if we ignore the mullahs’ terrorism and murder of tens of thousands of people in Iran and throughout the world, if we want peace and prosperity for the Palestinians and the whole people in the Middle East and the world, we should support the peace process and resolutely oppose the “Islamist” fundamentalist fascists occupying and ruling the ancient land of Iran by using mass-terrorism throughout the world and Iran and also mass-murder of the civilised people of Iran.
