‘People Will Not Stand For It’ if Mueller’s Report is Against Me

In his latest interview with Fox Business, President Donald Trump tore into several high-profile figures from the Justice Department while promising that “people will not stand for it” if Robert Mueller‘s report doesn’t come out in his favor.

Maria Bartiromo asked Trump about the special counsel amid recent indications that Mueller is about to submit his findings to Attorney General William Barr. This prompted Trump to boast about his election victory before he shifted gears to rail against former AG Jeff Sessionsand Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein.

“A deputy who didn’t get any votes appoints a man who didn’t get any votes, he’s gonna write a report on me,” Trump fumed. “Because we have an attorney general who nobody can believe, he didn’t tell me, but he rescued himself.”
