Theresa May is set to defend her Brexit plan at the end of a disastrous Conservative Party Conference, in Birmingham.
The PM has faced open rebellion from her former foreign secretary Boris Johnson and had her leadership challenged by a letter of no-confidence, delivered by a backbench MP.
May according to exerts released ahead of her speech, is expected to say: “I passionately believe that our best days lie ahead of us and that our future is full of promise.
“Don’t let anyone tell you we don’t have what it takes: we have everything we need to succeed.”
The Prime Minister was rocked by a letter of no-confidence by MP James Duddridge, news of which broke just minutes before she was set to take the stage.
