To: All Republican Members of Congress and the House Republican Leadership
As a citizen of your District, and a voter, I am outraged that once filing for the Republican primary elections has closed the House Republican leadership is planning to release and ram through Congress a bill to grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants.
This plan demonstrates that the House Republican leadership has betrayed the grassroots of the Party and abandoned the principles of the rule of law and preservation of American exceptionalism that are fundamental precepts of the Republican Party.
I, and thousands of other voters in your District, want to know if you are part of this conspiracy to betray conservative principles and open America’s borders to millions of heretofore illegal immigrants who will overwhelm our country’s already bankrupt social safety net and add trillions to our social services budget.
To that end I request that you sign the following No Amnesty Pledge:
“I, (your name) pledge to publicly and privately oppose any legislation that grants amnesty to illegal immigrants and to vote against any bill that grants amnesty to illegal immigrants should it come before Congress for a vote. I make this Pledge to support the rule of law and to preserve American exceptionalism.”
Please sign the pledge and return it to me at the address below. The plan to wait until after filing for the Republican primary elections closes to advance an amnesty bill won’t work. My future vote and support are dependent upon your commitment to steadfastly oppose any bill that grants amnesty to illegal immigrants or otherwise undermines America’s border security and sovereignty.
Not sure who is your Congressman? Find out HERE.
