Adm. Michael Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that the Pentagon is planning “potential” military actions against Iran, reports The Washington Post . Adm. مايكل مولين ، رئيس هيئة رؤساء الأركان المشتركة ، وقال ان التخطيط فى البنتاجون "المحتملة" الاعمال العسكرية ضد ايران ، تقارير واشنطن بوست.
Mullen criticized Iran’s “‘increasingly lethal and malign influence’ in Iraq,” writes Ann Scott Tyson for the Post . وانتقد إيران لمولين "' والفتاكه بشكل متزايد التأثير الضار 'في العراق ،" كتب سكوت تايسون الشبكه العربية الاخباريه لهذا المنصب.
Addressing concerns about the US military’s capability of dealing with yet another conflict at a time when forces are purportedly stretched thin, Mullen said war with Iran “would be ‘extremely stressing’ but not impossible for US forces, pointing specifically to reserve capabilities in the Navy and Air Force,” Tyson notes. معالجة القلق بشأن قدرة العسكرية الامريكية للتعامل مع صراع اخر في وقت كانت فيه القوات في الظاهر رغم الضغوط رقيقة ، مولين الحرب مع ايران وقال "سيكون' مشددا للغاية 'ولكنها ليست مستحيلة لمواجهة القوات الأمريكية ، مشيرا على وجه التحديد في قدرات الاحتياطي القوات البحرية والجوية ، "ويلاحظ تايسون.
“It would be a mistake to think that we are out of combat capability,” she quotes the US’s top military leader at a Pentagon news conference. "سيكون من الخطأ الاعتقاد بأننا من اصل بقدرة قتالية ،" وقالت انها نقلت الينا اعلى قائد عسكري في البنتاغون فى مؤتمر صحفى.

…Mullen made clear that he prefers a diplomatic solution to the tensions with Iran and does not foresee any imminent military action. … مولين اوضح انه يفضل الحل الدبلوماسي للازمة مع ايران التوترات ولا تتوقع اى عمل عسكرى وشيك. “I have no expectations that we’re going to get into a conflict with Iran in the immediate future,” he said. "ليس لدي اي توقعات بأن نحن ذاهبون الى الدخول في صراع مع ايران في المستقبل القريب".
Mullen’s statements and others by Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates recently signal a new rhetorical onslaught by the Bush administration against Iran, amid what officials say is increased Iranian provision of weapons, training and financing to Iraqi groups that are attacking and killing Americans. مولين تصريحات وغيرها من قبل وزير الدفاع روبرت م البوابات مؤخرا اشارة بلاغيه جديدة الحملات التي تشنها ادارة بوش ضد ايران ، وسط ما يقول المسؤولون الايراني هو زيادة توفير الأسلحة ، وتدريب وتمويل الجماعات العراقية الى ان يتم مهاجمة وقتل الاميركيين.
In a speech Monday at West Point, Gates said Iran “is hell-bent on acquiring nuclear weapons.” He said a war with Iran would be “disastrous on a number of levels. وفي كلمة ألقاها الاثنين في وست بوينت ، ايران قال غيتس "جهنم - مصرة على حيازه الاسلحة النووية." وقال ان الحرب مع ايران ستكون "وخيمة على عدد من المستويات. But the military option must be kept on the table given the destabilizing policies of the regime and the risks inherent in a future Iranian nuclear threat.” ولكن الخيار العسكري يجب ان توضع على بساط البحث نظرا لزعزعة الاستقرار في سياسات النظام والمخاطر الكامنة في المستقبل التهديد النووي الايراني ".
Army Gen. David H. Petraeus, the top US commander in Iraq, who was nominated this week to head all US forces in the Middle East, is preparing a briefing soon to lay out detailed evidence of increased Iranian involvement in Iraq, Mullen said. الجيش الجنرال ديفيد petraeus حاء ، القائد الاميركي الاعلى في العراق ، وقد رشحت من هذا الاسبوع الى رئيس جميع القوات الأمريكية فى الشرق الأوسط ، ويعد الاجتماع في وقت قريب لوضع ادلة تفصيليه عن زيادة التورط الايراني في العراق ، قال مولين. The briefing will detail, for example, the discovery in Iraq of weapons that were very recently manufactured in Iran, he said. وسيشارك في الاحاطه من التفصيل ، على سبيل المثال ، فان اكتشاف في العراق من الأسلحة التي كانت تصنع في الآونة الأخيرة في ايران ، كما قال.

Why is the west so hellbent on a war with IRAN? لماذا الغرب حتى hellbent على الحرب مع ايران؟ . I think that we have had enough bloodshed in IRAQ too last a lifetime . واعتقد ان لدينا ما يكفي من اراقة الدماء فى العراق للغاية آخر العمر. All those wasted lives most of them young men and women , plus the degredation of our standing and the respect that we once had around the world is now at an alltime low the US and the UK cannot carry on like this for much longer! كل هذه خسائر في الارواح ومعظمهم من الشبان والشابات ، بالاضافة الى تدهور الداءمه لنا ونحن نحترم هذا مرة واحدة وكان في جميع انحاء العالم هي الآن في alltime منخفض الولايات المتحدة والمملكه المتحدة لا يقوم على هذا المنوال لمدة اطول بكثير! . Imagine all the schools , hospitals we could have built with that money which has been wasted over the years and have we solved anything or stabalised the middle east? تخيل جميع المدارس والمستشفيات ونحن يمكن ان يبنى تلك الاموال التي كانت تهدر على مر السنين واننا لم تحل اي شيء او stabalised فان الشرق الاوسط؟ . NO . لا. Instead the UK is practically on its knees financialy and from what i hear the US is doing worse than we are , and what for too placate the meglomanic societies we live in and for the glory and greed of our politicians . وبدلا من ان المملكه المتحدة من الناحية العملية على الركبتين وماليا من اسمع ما تقوم به الولايات المتحدة اسوأ من نحن ، وأيضا ما لاسترضاء meglomanic اننا نعيش في مجتمعات ولمجد والجشع السياسيين عندنا. So IRAN are supplying IRAQ with weapons , well excuse me for being a little bit cautious about that statement , does anyone remember the WMD that deffinately existed . حتى ايران تزود العراق اسلحه ، بالاضافة الى عفوا لكونه قليلا الحذر ازاء هذا البيان ، هل يتذكر احد ان deffinately وجود اسلحه الدمار الشامل. Oh thats right they didnt . أوه thats الحق انهم didn't. At this present moment in time i find myself ashamed too be called BRITISH! في هذه اللحظة في هذا الوقت أجد نفسي أيضا بالخجل أن يسمى البريطانية! .
