US presidential candidate, Sen. John McCain on Monday criticized Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama’s calls for withdrawing US troops from Iraq, saying that such a pullout would harm Israel’s security. المرشح الرئاسى الامريكى ، جون ماكين sen. يوم الاثنين انتقد المرشح الرئاسي الديمقراطي باراك اوباما sen. نداءات لسحب القوات الامريكية من العراق ، قائلا ان مثل هذا الانسحاب سيعود بالضرر على امن اسرائيل.
Speaking to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), McCain also blasted Obama’s calls for talks with Iran. تحدث الامريكية الى اسرائيل للجنة الشؤون العامة "ايباك") ، وانتقد ماكين ايضا اوباما دعوات لاجراء محادثات مع ايران.
“The Iranians have spent years working toward a nuclear program,” McCain said, “and the idea that they now seek nuclear weapons because we refuse to engage in presidential-level talks is a serious misreading of history.” "الايرانيين قد امضى سنوات العمل من أجل التوصل لبرنامج نووى ،" وقال ماكين ، "وفكرة انها تسعى الآن لأن الاسلحة النووية ونحن نرفض الدخول فى محادثات على المستوى الرئاسي هو خطير سوء قراءة التاريخ".

An Obama campaign spokesman, Hari Sevugan, was quick to retort. وصرح الناطق باسم وجود حملة اوباما ، Hari sevugan ، سارعت الى الرد السريع. “John McCain stubbornly insists on continuing a dangerous and failed foreign policy that has clearly made the United States and Israel less secure.” "جون ماكين وتصر بعناد على الاستمرار في خطيرة وفشل في السياسة الخارجية بشكل واضح ان تقدم الولايات المتحدة واسرائيل اقل امنا."

During the Bush Administration, Hamas took over Gaza. وخلال ادارة الرئيس جورج بوش ، اتخذت حركة حماس في غزة. Most importantly, the war in Iraq that John McCain supported and promises to continue indefinitely has done more to dramatically strengthen and embolden Iran than anything in a generation.” والأهم من ذلك ، ان الحرب فى العراق جون ماكين وعود الدعم وتستمر الى ما لا نهاية فعل المزيد لتعزيز هاءله وجراه ايران اكثر من اي شيء في جيل واحد. McCain also criticized Obama’s calls for removing US troops from Iraq. وانتقد ماكين ايضا اوباما الذي يدعو لاخراج القوات الامريكية من العراق. “You would never know from listening to those who are still caught up in angry arguments over yesterday’s options, but our troops in Iraq have made hard-won progress under General Petraeus’ new strategy.” he said. "انك لن تعرف ابدا من الاستماع الى من هم اولئك الذين يزج بهم في ما زال غاضبا من أمس الجدل حول الخيارات ، ولكن قواتنا في العراق جعلت من بشق الانفس petraeus العام التقدم المحرز في اطار' استراتيجية جديدة "، وقال.
“[Withdrawal from Iraq] would surely result in a catastrophe,” McCain said. Al Qaida terrorists would rejoice in the defeat of the United States. تنظيم القاعده والارهابيين من شأنه ان نبتهج فى هزيمة الولايات المتحدة.
“Allowing a potential terrorist sanctuary would profoundly affect the security of the United States, Israel, and our other friends, and would invite further intervention from Iraq’s neighbors, including an emboldened Iran. "السماح الارهابيه ملاذا محتملا من شأنه ان يؤثر بعمق على أمن الولايات المتحدة ، اسرائيل ، واصدقاءنا الآخرين ، وتدعو الى مزيد من التدخل من جيران العراق ، بما شجع ايران. We must not let this happen.” ويجب الا ندع هذا يحدث ".
In his speech, McCain called for measures aimed at increasing pressure on Iran, such as severely limiting Iranian imports of gasoline, targeted sanctions such as denying visas and freezing assets and a worldwide campaign to divest from companies doing business with Iran. وفي كلمته ، ماكين دعا الى اتخاذ تدابير ترمي الى زيادة الضغوط على ايران ، مثل يحد بشدة من واردات ايران من البنزين ، والجزاءات المستهدفة مثل انكار والتأشيرات وتجميد الاصول وحمله على نطاق العالم بالتخلي عن الشركات المتعامله مع ايران.
McCain called for financial sanctions on the Central Bank of Iran, which he said aids in terrorism and weapons proliferation, and he criticized Obama for opposing a measure to designate Iran’s Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization responsible for killing US troops in Iraq. ودعا ماكين جزاءات مالية على المصرف المركزي لايران ، التي قال الايدز في الارهاب وانتشار الاسلحة ، وانتقد اوباما المعارض لتدبير لتسمية ايران في الحرس الثوري بأنه منظمة ارهابية مسؤولة عن قتل القوات الامريكية فى العراق.
McCain has warm relations with the group, which is influential in the Jewish community. ماكين قد علاقات حميمه مع الفريق ، التي هي المءثره في المجتمع اليهودي. His call for sanctions against gasoline imports is a priority that AIPAC’s members plan to lobby for in Congress later in the week. دعوته الى الجزاءات المفروضة على واردات البنزين هي اولويه ان اعضاء "ايباك" خطة للضغط من اجل الكونغرس في وقت لاحق من الاسبوع.
In contrast, Obama has worked to reassure Jewish voters who have expressed some unease about his candidacy. وفي المقابل ، اوباما عملت على طمأنة الناخبين من اليهود اعربوا عن بعض القلق حول ترشيحه.
“I welcome the Muslim world’s accurate perception that I am interested in opening up dialogue and interested in moving away from the unilateral policies of George Bush, but nobody should mistake that for a softer stance when it comes to terrorism or when it comes to protecting Israel’s security or making sure that the alliance is strong and firm,” Obama said in an interview last month with The Atlantic magazine.
