EU erklärt USA: Stellen Sie nicht neues Guantanamo her

Die Vereinigten Staaten dürfen nicht seinem Bagram militärische Unterseite in Afghanistan eine neue Guantanamo Bucht, wenn sie europäische Anschlußhilfe das Gefängnis auf Kuba schließen wünscht, gesagten EUbeamten werden lassen die Donnerstag. ? Aber ein vertrauliches EU-Politikpapier, erhalten von Reuters, sagte, daß solche Hilfe von der gesamten Politik Anti-terrorismus Washingtons, einschließlich Versicherungen abhängen würde, daß Bagram oder andere Lager nicht neues Guantanamos werden würden. ? „Ich würde es sehr überraschend finden, wenn die Politik (US) die selbe blieb, während Guantanamo geschlossen war, zum des EUS zu sehen, sich zu mobilisieren,“ EU Anti-terrorismus Koordinator Gilles de Kerchove erklärtes Reuters. ? Das EU-Politikpapier gesagt: „Es würde nicht in übereinstimmung mit den EU-Grundlagerechtpolitischen richtlinien sein, zum von Guantanamo einfach anderwohin zu bringen (d.h. in Bagram) ohne die zugrundeliegende Frage der Verzögerung der Terrorverdächtiger für unbestimmte Zeit zu lösen und ohne Versuch.“ ? US VERANTWORTLICHKEIT ? Eine EU-Delegation reist nach Washington im Mitte März, um die Ausgabe zu besprechen. Das EU ist scharf, die transatlantic Riegel zu verbessern, beschädigt durch den Krieg 2003 im Irak, aber Länder sind geteilter überschuß, ob man Guantanamo Häftlinge löschte für Freigabe einläßt. ? Einige wie Spanien und Portugal haben gesagt, sie zu bereit sind, während andere wie die Niederlande gesagt haben, daß sie nicht sind. ? Die Innenminister des Blocks stimmten Donnerstag zu, daß es bis zu jedem Land sein würde, zum zu entscheiden, wenn es ehemalige Insassen annahm, aber, daß sie versuchen würden, etwas Korrdination zu ordnen - Informationen über diese Einzelpersonen mindestens, teilend, tschechischer Innenminister Ivan Langer eine Nachrichten Konferenz erklärte. ? De Kerchove said it would be a long time before EU states got answers from Washington and took any decision. ? One condition would be for EU states to be supplied with full information — whether classified or not — on any detainee they considered taking in, Langer said. ? U.S. authorities have cleared several dozen prisoners for release, including 17 members of China’s Muslim Uighur minority. But they have remained at Guantanamo because U.S. officials fear they would be tortured if returned to China. ? Langer and the EU policy paper said the United States should also take in some of the cleared detainees. “The responsibility of closing Guantanamo is first and foremost that of the United States,” the document said.? “The former inmates that could be taken in the EU are those who face no judicial charges, can be freed, cannot go back to their country of origin and want to be transferred to Europe.” ?
