Miljoen Palestijnen die met Verhongering worden bedreigd
De Israëliërs hebben reeds de Gazastrook onder militaire belegering, zorgvuldig controlerend wat en wie in en uit het gaat. Zij hebben nu de meeste brandstof afgesneden, en de Verenigde Naties zijn gedwongen ophouden verdelend voedselhulp.
Deze Israëlische regeringsacties zijn een onverbloemde oorlogsmisdaad. Het is genoemd geworden collectieve straf. Er waren reeds honger en ondervoeding onder Palestijnse kinderen, die nu zullen verergerd worden.
Was Hamas verteld Jimmy Carter het klaar te onderhandelen.
De overheid Olmert is niet geinteresseerd in het onderhandelen, blijkbaar, alhoewel niets Likud en het Licht van Kadima „Likud“ sinds 2001 heeft verminderd salience van de Moslim fundamentalistische partij van Gaza, met inbegrip van een gezamenlijke campagne van moord, ontvoering, aanval en collectieve straf heeft gedaan. Ondanks de hevige groepen op zijn marges, heeft Hamas zelf op diverse punten op een bereidheid gewezen om gewone politiek te spelen, maar Olmert zal met niets worden tevredengesteld minder dan vernietigend het. Tot dusver gaat het niet goed voor hem.
Afsnijden van brandstof aan Gazans en veroorzaken van een scheiding van de voedselhulp van de V.N. zijn niet alleen misdadig maar ook stom. Het is moeilijk om dergelijke mean-spirited sancties tegen burgers te veronderstellen die welk ook beleidseffect hebben, zodat maken zij slecht enkel Israël kijken.
De Israëlische ambassadeur aan de V.N. Dan Gillerman riep Voerman bigot voor zijn diplomatie.
Gillerman geroepen Hizbullah, een Arabische partij, „dieren“ in de zomer van 2006. Zou hij de verwijzing om andere races te omvatten willen uitbreiden? Hoeveel van ons precies zijn Untermenschen naar zijn mening? Voor Likudniks om Jimmy Carter „bigot“ te roepen is ongeveer zoals Ku Klux Klan aan de kaak stellend Nelson Mandela voor rassenongevoeligheid.

ReplyAfter re-reading this post i realised that i had made a mistake towards the end of the post . Where it says that - Let me make this very clear i am not ANTI-ISRAEL - It should read ANTI-ISRAELIE as i have nothing against the people but clearly THE STATE OF ISRAEL is in my opinion ILLEGAL! . I appologise for any confusion but i am DYSLEXIC and often do not see my mistakes untill i have re-read a post several times . Simon! .

ReplyThe US has gained much knowledge in how to manage an indigenous population(i.e the Iraqis)from the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian lands.
I recently heard Hillary Clinton- the Democratic Presidential hopeful say, that if Iran attacked Israel, the US would “bomb” them into oblivion,or a similar sentiment.I think it is fairly obvious to many that Israel has been used as an American outposr in the Middle East for some time.
Unfortunately, the needs of the Palestinians have been forsaken in this extremely basic power play.

Yet again the PALESTINIANS suffer appaling HUMAN RIGHTS abuses on a daily basis and what for , just for being a bit pissed that someone laid claim to your homeland without your consent i might add then too add insult to injury then restricted not only movements within your own land but then actively stopped aid from reaching the poorest and that includes the sick , elderly and children! . Ok the PALESTINIANS have made many mistakes of their own but they have repeatedely been open too serious talks , while the UK and the US seem too look the other way . It appears that the only nuclear power in the middle east ISRAEL can do no wrong , that is unless you count STARVING A NATION TOO DEATH as wrong , i guess its all a matter of perspective , didnt we go too war with IRAQ for very similar reasons? . Just to make very clear i am not ANTI-ISRAEL just against blatant ABUSES OF HUMAN RIGHTS if ISRAEL treated the PALESTINIANS like human beings and not like dogs i would not be so outraged and angry! .
