Senior police officers are discussing plans to create an international criminal database that could hold biometric data, the Home Office confirmed. كبار ضباط الشرطة مناقشة خطط لانشاء قاعدة البيانات الجناءيه الدولية التي يمكن ان تعقد البيانات الاحصاءيه البيولوجية ، وأكدت وزارة الداخلية.
An FBI plan for a “Server in the Sky” - which might hold iris, palm prints and other personal biological information - is being discussed to help fight terrorism around the world, a newspaper reported. اف بى اى وجود خطة لاقامة "الخادم في السماء" -- التي قد تعقد ايريس ، والنخيل وغيرها من الطبعات البيولوجية المعلومات الشخصيه -- تجرى مناقشتها من اجل المساعدة على مكافحة الارهاب في جميع انحاء العالم ، وذكرت الصحيفة.
The network could hold information from millions of criminal suspects pooled by the US, the UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand, the paper said. شبكة المعلومات يمكن أن تعقد من الملايين من المشتبه فيهم جنائيا المجمعه من قبل الولايات المتحدة ، المملكه المتحدة ، استراليا وكندا ونيوزيلندا ، وقالت الصحيفة.
The plan is likely to raise concerns about data security in the wake of a series of embarrassing data loss blunders by the Government and its agencies. الخطة ومن المرجح ان تثير القلق بشأن أمن البيانات في اعقاب سلسلة من احراج فقدان البيانات أخطاء من قبل الحكومة واجهزتها.
The Home Office confirmed the existence of “Server in the Sky” but stressed discussions were at a very early stage. وزارة الداخلية اكدت وجود "الخادم في السماء" ، ولكنها شددت المناقشات كانت في مرحلة مبكره جدا.
A spokesman said: “We are aware of the proposed project. قال متحدث باسم وقال : "نحن مدركون للمشروع المقترح. As you would expect we consider a wide range of initiatives as we constantly look to enhance our investigative capabilities. كما تتوقعون نعتبر طائفة واسعة من المبادرات ونحن نتطلع باستمرار الى تعزيز قدرات التحقيق اعمالنا.
“Relevant safeguards are always considered as part of this process.” "الضمانات ذات الصلة دائما يجري النظر فيها كجزء من هذه العملية."
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police confirmed it was in discussions with the FBI but emphasised the plans were at a preliminary stage. واعلن متحدث باسم شرطة العاصمة واكد انه كان في مناقشات مع مكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالى ولكن شددوا على خطط كانت في مرحلة اولية.
The FBI told reporters the database would include details of major criminals such as international terrorists. مكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالى للصحافيين في قاعدة البيانات ستشمل تفاصيل مثل كبار المجرمين الارهابيين الدوليين.
A spokesman said: “Server in the Sky is an FBI initiative designed to foster the advanced search and exchange of biometric information on a global scale.” قال متحدث باسم وقال : "الخادم في السماء هو أف بي آي مبادره تهدف الى تشجيع البحث المتقدم البيومتريه وتبادل المعلومات على نطاق عالمي."
