Thinktank calls for Gov to scrap ID cards Thinktank يدعو الى زاويه الخرده بطاقات الهوية
The Government should launch a “serious renewed debate” on ID cards or scrap the scheme, a thinktank report has said. وينبغي للحكومة ان اطلاق "تجدد النقاش خطيرة" على بطاقات الهوية او خرده للمخطط ، thinktank الماضية.
Researchers from Demos warned that the identity card project was launched without adequate public engagement, and said more consideration should be given to what information the cards carry and how they will be used. عينات من الباحثين وحذر من ان بطاقه الهوية وبدأ العمل في مشروع دون ما يكفي من اشراك الجمهور ، وقال ينبغي ايلاء مزيد من النظر الى ما هي المعلومات التي تحمل هذه البطاقات وكيف سيتم استخدامها.
The call came in a report entitled The New Politics of Personal Information, which found that the average economically-active British adult now has details recorded on 700 databases. الدعوة جاءت في تقرير بعنوان السياسة الجديدة للمعلومات الشخصيه ، والتي وجدت ان متوسط النشطه اقتصاديا - البريطانية الكبار الآن على التفاصيل وسجلت 700 وقواعد البيانات.
Researchers Peter Bradwell and Niamh Gallagher found that the modern public, far from resisting Big Brother-style surveillance, were largely happy to share their personal information through social networking websites, supermarket loyalty schemes, public transport swipe-cards and CCTV cameras. Bradwell الباحثين وبيتر غالاغر niamh وجدت ان الحديث العامة ، بعيدا عن مقاومه الاخ الكبير اسلوب المراقبة ، الى حد كبير سعيدة لتبادل المعلومات الشخصيه والاجتماعية عن طريق الربط الشبكي على شبكة الانترنت ، وسوبر ماركت ولاء مخططات الضربه الشديدة وسائل النقل العام والدوائر التلفزيونيه المغلقه - بطاقات آلات التصوير.
But they said people were gradually becoming more uneasy about the consequences of losing control of their personal data and called on the Government to act to ensure greater protection. لكنهم قالوا الناس تزداد تدريجيا بعدم الارتياح ازاء النتائج المترتبة على ان تفقد السيطرة على بياناتهم الشخصيه ، ودعت الحكومة الى العمل على ضمان قدر أكبر من الحمايه.
Each official department using citizens’ personal information should say how and why they are accessing it, and public authorities should handle individuals’ details with the same discipline and care as they have traditionally handled cash, they said. كل الادارة الرسمية باستخدام الشخصيه للمواطنين المعلومات ينبغي ان نقول كيف ولماذا هي الوصول اليه ، وينبغي للسلطات العامة ان التعامل مع الافراد من التفاصيل مع نفس الانضباط والرعايه التي اعتادوا تناولها نقدا ، وقالوا.
Banks could have an insurance-type “no-claims” bonus for people who successfully protect their own identity from fraudsters, the report proposed. البنوك والتأمين يمكن ان يكون لها من نوع "عدم مطالبة" مكافاه للشعب بنجاح من حمايه هويتهم الخاصة بهم من المحتالين ، واقترح التقرير.
The recommendations come less than a month after HM Revenue and Customs lost two computer discs containing the data of 25 million people and amid growing fears people using the internet are leaving themselves wide open to identity fraud. التوصيات تأتي بعد أقل من شهر بعد ان جلالة الايرادات الجمركيه وفقدت اثنين من اقراص كمبيوتر تحتوى على بيانات من 25 مليون شخص ووسط تزايد المخاوف من الاشخاص الذين يستخدمون الانترنت هم انفسهم ترك مفتوحا على مصراعيه الى الغش في الهوية.
In the wake of the security breach, Prime Minister Gordon Brown announced checks on the handling of data by every Government department and agency. في أعقاب عملية اختراق امني ، رئيس وزراء غوردون براون اعلن اجراء عمليات فحص على معالجة البيانات من قبل كل من الحكومة والادارة والوكالة.
He also pledged that new powers would be given to Information Commissioner Richard Thomas to enable spot-checks on public bodies holding personal information. كما تعهد الجديدة ان تمنح الصلاحيات لمفوض المعلومات ريتشارد توماس لتمكين سبوت شيكا على عقد الهيئات العامة على معلومات شخصية.
