Reuters | Three New York City detectives were found not guilty on Friday in the shooting death of an unarmed black man killed in a hail of 50 bullets on his wedding day, prompting angry reactions and a federal review of the case. رويترز | ثلاثة مدينة نيويورك تم العثور على تحريات غير مذنب يوم الجمعة في اطلاق النار الى مقتل رجل أسود أعزل قتلوا في وابل من الرصاص على 50 من عرسه في اليوم ، مما دفع وأدت ردود الفعل الغاضبه واستعراض الاتحادية للقضية.
A New York state judge cleared two police officers of manslaughter and other charges and a third of reckless endangerment in the death of Sean Bell, 23. في نيويورك الدولة القاضي اخلاء اثنين من ضباط الشرطة من القتل الخطأ وغيرها من الرسوم وثالث من التهور في تعريضها للخطر وفاة شون الجرس ، 23 عاما. After the verdict, hundreds of demonstrators yelled angrily, and there was pushing and shoving in the crowd as police, reporters and spectators packed the sidewalk. بعد الحكم ، المئات من المتظاهرين صاح غاضبا ، وكان هناك دفع والدفع في الحشد الشرطة ، وصحفيين متفرج معباه الرصيف.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg called for calm after the verdict, saying, “We don’t expect violence or law-breaking, nor is there any place for it.” مايكل بلومبيرغ عمدة دعا الى الهدوء بعد هذا الحكم ، قائلا : "نحن لا نتوقع او العنف او مخالفة للقانون ، كما انه ليس هناك اي مكان لذلك."
The case had generated outrage in New York’s black community, though police said they did not expect violence because numerous demonstrations against the perceived police brutality had remained peaceful. حالة الغضب قد ولدت في نيويورك السوداء في المجتمع ، رغم وقالت الشرطة انها لا تتوقع العنف لان العديد من المظاهرات ضد ينظر الى وحشية الشرطة ظلت سلميه.
“It shows that there is no justice in America for the black man. "انه يبين ان عدم وجود العدالة فى امريكا للرجل الاسود. This is telling us the cops can do whatever they want and get away with it,” said BM Marcus, a community organizer. وهذا هو يملون علينا الشرطة يمكن ان تفعل ما تريد وتفلت من العقاب "، وقال ماركوس BM ، مجتمع منظم.
APOLOGY اعتذار
The acquitted officers gave brief statements thanking their friends and family. وقد برئ من ضباط والقى ببيانات موجزة شكر على الأصدقاء والأسرة.
“I’d like to say sorry to the Bell family for the tragedy,” said detective Marc Cooper, who had been charged only with reckless endangerment. "المستوى الشخصي اود ان اقول اسف لالجرس الاسرة عن الماساه ،" المخبر وقال مارك كوبر ، من قد اتهم فقط مع تعريضها للخطر بشكل متهور.
The other two detectives, Gescard Isnora and Mike Oliver, were charged with manslaughter. الاخريين مخبرون ، وgescard isnora مايك اوليفر ، تهمة القتل الخطأ.
All three defendants waived their right to a jury trial and decided to have the judge decide guilt or innocence. ثلاثة من المدعى عليهم التنازل عن جميع حقوقهم في الحصول على وقررت هيئة المحلفين في محاكمة ليقرر القاضي الذنب او البراءه. State Supreme Court Judge Arthur Cooperman said the charges could not be proved beyond a reasonable doubt, noting that some prosecution witnesses contradicted themselves from prior statements and may have had motivation to lie. الدولة قاضيا في المحكمه العليا آرثر cooperman قال التهم لا يمكن ان يثبت اي شك معقول ، مع ملاحظه ان بعض شهود الادعاء انفسهم في تناقض التصريحات من قبل وربما كان الدافع لكذبه.
“At times the testimony just didn’t make sense,” Cooperman said. "في بعض الاحيان مجرد شهادة لا معنى ،" وقال cooperman.
After the verdict, loud sobs were heard in the courtroom. بعد الحكم ، وتم الاستماع الى البكاء بصوت عال في قاعة المحكمه.
The judge gave credibility to the detectives’ statements that they believed they were in danger but also offered, “Questions of carelessness and incompetence must be left to other forums.” والقى القاضي المصداقيه على تحريات تصريحات انهم يعتقدون انهم فى خطر ولكن كما عرضت ، "المسائل من الاهمال وعدم الكفاءه يجب ان يترك الى محافل اخرى."
The eight-week trial centered on whether the detectives had reason to believe they faced imminent danger and whether they made it clear to Bell and the two survivors that they were police officers. الاسابيع الثمانيه التي تتمحور حول محاكمة تحريات بشأن ما اذا كان قد يدعو الى الاعتقاد انها تواجه خطر وشيك ، وعما اذا كانت أوضحت لبيل واثنين من الناجين انهم من ضباط الشرطة.
On the night of the shooting, Isnora, the undercover officer who fired first, followed Bell and his two friends to Bell’s car believing they went to fetch a gun to settle a dispute at the club. وفي ليلة من اطلاق النار ، isnora ، والسرية من موظف اطلقت اولا ، ثم الجرس واثنين من اصدقائه لصاحب سيارة بيل الاعتقاد ذهبوا لاحضار بندقيه من اجل تسوية النزاع في النادي. There is no excuse for any police officer firing on anyone that is unarmed , while there are other so-called non-lethal means of officers protecting themselves such as tasers ect , yes they themselves carry risks but i would suggest that they may not be so dangerous too life as a hail of bullets ! وليس هناك اي مبرر لأي ضابط شرطة باطلاق النار على اي شخص وهذا هو العزل ، في حين ان هناك ما يسمى وسائل غير قاتلة لحمايه انفسهم من الضباط مثل tasers ECT ، نعم هي نفسها تحمل مخاطر ، ولكني أود أن تشير الى أنها قد لا تكون كذلك خطير جدا في الحياة كما وابل من الرصاص! . It does not supprise me that they waived their right too be tried by jury as obviousely a jury would have seen the inconsistancies in the various statemants and there would have been a more likely result of the officers being found guilty . لا supprise لي انهم ايضا التنازل عن حقه في ان يحاكم امام هيئة محلفين كما obviousely هيئة محلفين قد رأى inconsistancies في مختلف statemants وكان سيحقق على الارجح نتيجة للضباط ادانته. It amazes me how they always look after their own , when will someone finaly be held accountable ? ومن يذهل لي كيف يبحث دائما بعد الخاصة بها ، ومتى ما وأخيرا يخضع للمساءلة؟ . I also agree that NON-VIOLENT protests are indeed wise as any violence would give vindication to the police that they were in the right in their actions ! كما انني اوافق على ان الاحتجاجات العنيفه غير الحكيمه كما هي في الواقع أي العنف من شأنه أن يعطي للدفاع الى ان الشرطة كانت في الحق في أعمالهم! .
