Poll: Hillary Clinton is not trustworthy

Most people in the United States now have an unfavorable view of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and believe she is not honest and trustworthy, according to a new poll on the 2016 race for the White House.

Clinton’s favorable ratings have dropped significantly across several key indicators since she launched her presidential campaign in April, according to a CNN/ORC poll released on Tuesday.

A growing number of Americans, or 57 percent, don’t have a favorable opinion about her and say she is not honest and trustworthy, up from 49 percent in March who said the same, the survey shows.

The poll also found that 52 percent of people feel the former secretary of state, senator and first lady does not care about people like them, and 50 percent feel she does not inspire confidence.

Clinton’s email controversy is hurting her approval ratings and taking a toll on her public image.
