US President Donald Trump told UK Prime Minister Theresa May she should “sue” the EU rather than negotiate with them, May has told the BBC.
Theresa May has revealed that Donald Trump advised her to sue the European Union as part of her Brexit strategy. The UK PM disclosed the insight into the leaders’ talks on the BBC’s Andrew Marr program on Sunday.
“He told me I should sue the EU,” May told Marr. “Sue the EU. Not go into negotiations – sue them.”
