President Trump’s new Director of Communications Anthony Scaramucci has been quick to insist that a trade deal with Brexit Britain will be done “one hundred percent”.

Dismissing a BBC question about chlorine chicken that the media seem to currently be obsessing over, Scaramucci once again reiterated that Trump “loves the United Kingdom” before then asking interviewer Emily Maitlis “don’t you want a trade deal for your great country?” and reiterating his support for the special relationship.
A ‘front of the queue’ approach from the new US administration only possible because soon the EU won’t be negotiating on the UK’s behalf.
