US President Donald Trump “welcomes” investigation into his business dealings in Russia, says White House press secretary Sean Spicer, asserting that he has no business in the country.
“He’s fine with that,” Spicer said at a briefing in Washington in Tuesday. “He has no business in Russia. He has no connections to Russia so he welcomes that.”
He made the comments after remarks by South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, voicing interest in an investigation into the matter.
The senator told CNN that he was willing to pursue the matter after a Monday testimony by former CIA Director James Clapper.
