The White House is taking advantage of the latest terrorist attack in New York City by calling on US Congress to overhaul the immigration system.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Monday that the attack near the Port Authority Bus Terminal offers yet another piece of evidence that the US needs stronger borders.
Akayed Ullah, 27, has been identified by police as the suspect. He is an immigrant from Bangladesh living in Brooklyn.
