US President Donald has announced a decision to send troops to the Mexican border to hype the immigration issue up ahead of congressional elections.
“I am bringing out the military for this National Emergency. They will be stopped!” Trump wrote on Twitter on Thursday.
The ”National Emergency” Trump makes reference to in his tweet is a caravan from Central America.crossing Mexico toward the US.
“To those in the Caravan, turnaround, we are not letting people into the United States illegally. Go back to your Country and if you want, apply for citizenship like millions of others are doing!” Trump tweeted.
The Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) had filed the request for the deployment of additional forces to help handle the flow of immigrants, said two officials speaking on condition of anonymity.
