Warplanes of the US-led coalition purportedly fighting Daesh have mistakenly targeted allied Kurdish militants in Syria’s eastern Dayr al-Zawr Province, killing six of them.
Russian media quoted a military and diplomatic source as saying that two coalition F-15 fighter jets had bombarded near the city of Hajin in Dayr al-Zawr Province on Wednesday.
The source also noted that the “unprofessional” US strike had left 15 Kurdish militants seriously injured.
“The imitation of the fight against terrorists in this region of Syria has been going on for more than six months and has been used by Washington to justify its illegal presence in this country,” he added.
