The United States and Israel reject peace and support endless conflict in the Middle East because peace would defeat their imperial agenda, says Stephen Lendman, a journalist and political analyst based in Chicago.
Lendman made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Tuesday after Trump reportedly told Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of his intention to relocate the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem al-Quds.
Abbas “warned of the dangerous consequences of such a decision on the peace process, security and stability in the region and the world.”
Lendman told Press TV on Tuesday that Trump “is getting information. He is getting advice. Either way he is getting an awful lot of flak from the Muslim world, especially the Arab world, explaining that if he does this you might as well kiss the peace process good bye.”
