US President Donald Trump has warned European leaders to “better watch themselves” as the wave of immigrations from the Middle East and Africa, according to him, is negatively changing the culture of their societies; acknowledging that his remarks were not politically correct to be made.
Standing next to British Prime Minister Theresa May at a joint press conference on Friday, Trump touched on the issue of immigration, saying it is “very bad for Europe.”
“I just think it is changing the culture, I think it is a very negative thing for Europe,” Trump claimed. “I think they better watch themselves because you are changing culture, you are changing a lot of things, you are changing security.”
“I know it is politically not necessarily correct to say that, but I will say it and I will say I it loud,” he added.
Further, he said that immigration was hurting Germany and other parts of Europe “very much.”
