US President Donald Trump’s impeachment, although possible, would bring no change to the current American foreign policy which favors Israel and Saudi Arabia, says an American analyst in San Antonio.
Mark Dankof, a former US Senate candidate, made the remarks in reaction to speculations that Democrats were considering a case of obstruction of justice against the US president over his alleged “collusion” with Russia.
Legal experts and other Democrats are also suggesting that Trump could face charges of obstruction of justice because of the way he has handled a high-profile inquiry in this regard.
Dankof told Press TV on Monday that Democrats had a good chance for an impeachment after next year’s mid-term congressional elections.
However, the alternative option is not expected to change America’s foreign policy direction in any major way.
