Most Americans think their nation is moving in the wrong direction under President Donald Trump, a new poll has found.
A mere 28 percent of those who took part in the NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, which was released Sunday, believed that their country was on the right track while 63 percent thought their country needed to change course.
The percentage of voters who thought the US was on the wrong path hit the highest point under Trump presidency, according to NBC News.
On the other hand those who thought America was on track constitute the smallest fraction of the respondents since President Trump took office.
In response to how they felt about the state of the US, 68 percent of the respondents reacted negatively, using such words as “disaster,” “divided” and “downhill.”
According to the poll, only 17 percent of the respondents had positive answers to give when asked the same question.
