Military cooperation between Russia and China helps put an end to US wars around the world, says American political analyst Daniel Patrick Welch.
The Boston-based analyst was reflecting upon a new Stratfor report that suggests the Chinese military is willing to help the Syrian Army retake Idlib in its ongoing fight against foreign-backed militants.
Both China’s ambassador and military attache to Syria have raised the possibility of Chinese military operations in Syria alongside the Syrian President Basha al-Assad’s forces.
The August 3 Stratfor article quotes Ambassador Qi Qianjin as saying that the Chinese “military is willing to participate in some way alongside the Syrian army that is fighting the terrorists in Idlib and in any other part of Syria.”
