Former US President George H. W. Bush has now been accused of sexual harassment while he was in the White House, following multiple allegations he had groped women after he left office.
A Michigan woman, who was not identified, told CNN on Thursday that the 41st US president inappropriately touched her while she posed for a picture with him at a campaign fundraiser in 1992.
The woman said she attended the event along with her father and “we got closer together for a family photo and it was like ‘Holy crap!’” she said of Bush’s grope.
She said she decided to raise the issue following the recent allegations made against Bush.
The latest accuser is at least the sixth woman to make allegations of sexual misconduct against the former Republican president.
