When robots become sentient we better hope they don’t see footage of a Boston Dynamics employee taunting the firm’s latest creation.
In a newly-released clip, a member of the US engineering company’s staff can be seen armed with a hockey stick attacking one of its creepy SpotMini robo-dogs.
The automatons look eerily similar to those featured in an episode of sci-fi series Black Mirror, where mechanised canines hunt humans in a post-apocalyptic future.
In a minute-long video, titled ‘Testing Robustness’, a human can be seen armed with a hockey stick.
The man attempts to stop SpotMini from opening a door, a new trick revealed by the Waltham, Massachusetts, firm just last week.
