A gunman has opened fire at a restaurant in Brussels with a Kalashnikov.
The weapon was fired at 9.50am local time and the suspect fled the scene, according to reports.
Police said three bullets were shot through the window.
The shooting happened in the Belgian capital’s Avenue Louise – one of the main streets in the city centre. Photos from the scene suggest the target was La Parisienne restaurant.
Belgian newspaper Le Soir says there were no reports of injuries but the gunman remains at large.
Prosecutor’s office spokeswoman Ine Van Wymersch told the publication: “A witness saw a man shoot with a Kalashnikov-style weapon in the direction of the window of a restaurant on Avenue Louise.
