GOP consultant suggests foul-mouthed singer could win Senate seat

A Republican consultant suggests that singer Kid Rock could win the Senate race in the US state of Michigan.

“I think there’s no question about that. I think he’s the prohibitive favorite if he gets in,” Dennis Lennox, a Michigan-based Republican political consultant, was cited by Politico as saying, according to a Sunday report.

The foul-mouthed singer and Trump supporter, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, announced in a tweet last week that he was thinking about running for the Senate in 2018.

He also unveiled his new website, www.kidrockforsenate.com, which links to a T-shirt and other merchandise store hosted by Warner Bros.

“Presuming Kid Rock doesn’t get caught in bed with a little boy, or beat up a woman between now and August 2018, he’s going to win the nomination if he gets in,” Lennox stated, as quoted in the report titled: “Senator Kid Rock. Don’t Laugh.”
