Downed Fighter Jet Reported as 195 Are Killed across Iraq

The U.S. House defeated a  resolution that could have brought home U.S. servicemembers stationed in Iraq home in as little as a month from now.

U.S. Defense Secretary Ashton Carter said that the U.S. is falling short of its recruitment goals in Iraq.

Militants are claiming they downed a fighter jet near Ramadi. No independent verification has been made of the claim.

Sergeant Lawrence Hutchins III of the U.S. Marines was found guilty of murdering a disabled Iraqi civilian, among other crimes, at a hearing in California.
