Following the uproar concerning the video of ‘comedian’ Kathy Griffin ‘beheading’ the president, a CNN analyst claimed that the Trumps are taking advantage of the incident and “playing the victim” to get sympathy.
CNN anchor Jake Tapper announced “It’s pretty disgusting, and I can’t imagine how anybody would think that’s appropriate,” also noting that Donald Trump Jr. is out there saying this is now considered to be acceptable discourse by the left,” alluding to this tweet:

Talking head (no pun intended) Molly Ball then dismissed the issue, stating “I have a hard time bringing myself to care about something like this.”
Ball added “I think it just speaks to the need to see themselves as a victim that they have, that they are constantly being persecuted.”

“The Trump people are constantly having to point to the elites who are looking down on them,” Ball continued, as if it is weird and strange that the President and his family would be disgusted or upset with a depiction of Trump’s severed bloody head.
