As an antiwar activist, I feel a responsibility to denounce the conduct of many of my colleagues with whom I generally share common ideologies. Their actions, and the condoning of their actions by others on the left, are, in part, driven by anger, reverse racism, white guilt (as defined by Shelby Steele), bullying, anti-Trumpism, intolerance to those with differing opinions, identity politics and hyper-PC culturism. A segment of the oppressed of the past (e.g. women, black people, LGBT) have become oppressors today.
Because antiwar activists are generally labeled as being ‘on the left’, any hypocritical, violent or repressive behavior by others on the left reflects poorly on antiwar activism. Below is a sampling of such behavior:
- Video shows Trump-supporter being attacked by an Antifa group. Source
- Politico: Homeland Security and the FBI designated Antifa activities as “domestic terrorist violence.” Source
- Armed Antifa group declares “Everywhere a battlefield”. Source
- Jennifer Lawrence: Hurricanes ‘Mother Nature’s rage’ over Trump. Source
- Anti-Trumpers want Hurricane Irma to kill Trump. Source
- Univ. of Nebraska professor and a few of her colleagues protested a Turning Point USA tabling event on campus, chanting things such as “f*ck Charlie Kirk” and “TPUSA Nazis.” Source
- Latino students at Cornell University are demanding that a fraternity issue a formal apology and accept “sanctions” after one its members was overheard chanting “build a wall” within earshot of the Latino Living Center. Source
- San Francisco shuts down ‘free-speech’ group. Source
- College students ‘in tears’ over a banana peel in a tree because it didn’t make them feel ‘safe’. Source
- Univ. of Tampa fires professor who blamed Republican supporters in Texas for Hurricane Harvey, said Republicans elsewhere ‘deserve’ similar fate. Source
- Louisville Black Lives Matter Organizer Asks White People To Give Up Homes. Source
- First grader sent to office for ‘misgendering’ fellow student. Source
- A California Senate bill proposes that elder care workers be arrested for addressing transgender residents by the wrong pronoun. Source

- So-called anti-fascist tries to stab a man because he had a ‘Neo-Nazi’ haircut. Source
- Houston man charged with trying to plant bomb at Confederate statue in Hermann Park. Source
- Ann Coulter – who was not allowed to speak at UC Berkeley – said, “It doesn’t matter who you vote for. The military-industrial complex wins…” in response to Trump’s Afghanistan troop surge announcement. Source
- Attacked by ‘militant LGBT students,’ professor resigns. Source
- “Free Speech Comedy Show” for charity was shut down by leftists. Source

- ‘I hope Trump is assassinated,’ Missouri lawmaker writes, and quickly regrets. Source
- The organizer of the Unite the Right rally, Jason Kessler, was punched, tackled and chased by a mob as he was attempting to give a speech discussing the violence that broke out in Charlottesville. Source
- Conservative student transfers out of BU because of death threats. Source
- Google engineer fired for writing a memo about the “politically correct monoculture that maintains its hold by shaming dissenters into silence.” Source
- Montclair State University has parted ways with its self-described “Beyonce Professor” after he tweeted that he wished “someone would just shoot” Donald Trump, and, “you better believe I will wish death on John McCain if he votes yes on this [healthcare] bullshit bill.” Source
- A female reporter for the Hill was allegedly punched by an “Antifa” protester in the wake of a deadly car attack in Charlottesville, Virginia as she tried to film the ensuing chaos. Source

- Evolutionary biologist, and self-described progressive Richard Dawkins has event in Berkeley cancelled because he allegedly “offended” people with some of his comments on Islam. Source
- A leader of the movement for California to secede from the U.S. said that the middle class leaving California is a “good thing” because it makes room for a “new wave of immigrants.” Source

The city of Portland, OR canceled their tenth annual rose parade after ‘anti-fascists’ groups threatened GOP marchers. - Climate change warrior Al Gore’s estate expends 21 times more energy than the average US home uses per year. Mr. Gore gets most of his electricity from NES, which is largely derived from coal, nuclear power and natural gas, the report said. Gore also owns at least two other homes, a pied-à-terre in San Francisco’s St. Regis Residence Club and a farm house in Carthage, Tennessee. Upon winning the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize, Gore stated, “The only way to solve this [environmental] crisis is for individuals to make changes in their own lives.” Source

- College Professor: ‘I Wish Someone Would Just Shoot’ Donald Trump; had previously tweeted, “will the 2nd amendment be as cool when i buy a gun and start shooting at random white people or no…?” Source
- Trump hater and Bernie Sanders supporter James Hodgkinson attempted to assassinate republican members of Congress wounding Steve Scalise and several others before being fatally shot by police. Source
- There was a group of activists in Charlottesville, VA on August 12 that the media has largely ignored. They are called Redneck Revolt and they offer training manuals on “kidnapping”, “executions”, and “terrorism”. Redneck Revolt appeared with Antifa in Charlottesville.
- The University of Minnesota offers a program called “Tongues Untied” that is reserved exclusively for “People of Color who identify as LGBTQIA and/or Same-Gender-Loving.” The program is not available to white and/or straight students, and the school’s website states that not even LGBTQ “allies” are allowed to participate. - A Georgetown University law professor recently declared on social media that “all white people are racist” and “all men are sexist.”. Source
- The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) system in San Francisco and Oakland has been withholding video evidence of crimes committed on trains and at stations perpetrated by groups of teenagers citing fears that the videos could create negative racial perceptions. Source
- ‘Intense Russophobia’: A U.S. LGBT and women’s rights activist warned companies not to insure Russian ambassador’s life. Source
- Three prominent CNN journalists – one a Pulitzer winner – resigned after the network was forced to retract and apologize for a story linking Trump ally Anthony Scaramucci to a Russian investment fund under congressional investigation. That article — like so much Russia reporting from the U.S. media — was based on a single anonymous source, and now, the network cannot vouch for the accuracy of its central claims. Source

- A man in Chicago, David Wilcox, was brutally beaten by people who were screaming “you voted for Trump” [watch]. Then, in the process of trying to stop the perpetrators from stealing his car, Wilcox got caught in the car door, and was dragged as the car sped away until he was flung from the stolen vehicle [watch].
- Activists Urging Obamacare Supporters to Mail Ashes of Dead People to Congress. Source
- A church organist was arrested after he vandalized his own church with a swastika and pro-Trump graffiti in order to “mobilize a movement.” Source
