The brother of Conservative MP, John Whittingdale, is to face 21 charges over alleged historic child abuse.
According to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) Charles Napier, a former teacher from Sherborne in Dorset, is accused of sexually assaulting boys between 1968 and 1973.
Baljit Ubhey, chief crown prosecutor for CPS London, said:
“We have carefully considered the evidence gathered by the Metropolitan Police Service in relation to allegations concerning Charles.
“Now having completed our review, we have concluded there is sufficient evidence and it is in the public interest for Mr Napier to be charged with 21 offences of indecent assault.
“These date from 1968 to 1973. They relate to 21 male complainants aged between eight and 13 at the time of the alleged offending.
“They were pupils at the school where he taught.”
As not a single MP has yet been arrested for historic or current child abuse, the obvious conclusion is that members of the British establishment are exempt from justice, although it appears that members of their family are not.
Could the noose be tightening on the criminal establishment or are cases like this one and the recent spat of celebrity sacrifices being used merely as cannon fodder to appease the masses?
