March saw the launch of a new OLX TV campaign, an inspiring free online platform for classified ads, to help build and strengthen its position in India. More about the TV campaign in a moment.
But first, to bring you up to speed about OLX; it offers a wide range of services… from learning new skills and finding jobs to the buying and selling of all type of
products, it’s become the next generation of free online classifieds.
So, about that TV campaign – if you haven’t seen them yet you can view the videos on the OLX Youtube Channel, as you’ll see they are pretty entertaining ads.
I think my favorite is the one featuring a wife and husband that need to get a motor bike out in order to keep the wife happy and be a happy married couple… take a look:
Being recently married, I couldn’t help but laugh at how creative the couple was at finding solutions to their ‘problems’ without disturbing the peace of their marriage.

The TV campaign got me thinking that maybe it was time that I gave the site a try. If you do not know much about OLX, it is a website currently operating in India that offers practically anything you could need or desire. If you have been thinking the market place was a little too retro for you, OLX is the answer. OLX is a great way to both buy and sell goods and service and as their TV campaign has showed us they are dedicated to India and developing our communications with each other.
If you have been looking at your mobile phone with the need to update the accessories or if your son has been slacking in his studies, OLX can help you find the right people with the right solutions. For many people OLX is the next generation of free online classifieds and puts the whole of India at the click of a mouse.
After seeing the TV spots a few times I decided to give OLX a try. The first time I used it, I jumped from page to page trying to come to grips with the astounding amount of opportunities available. When I said all of India is at the click of the mouse I meant it. After getting an understanding of the opportunities that OLX offered I began responding to posts.
I was particularly interesting in having a cook come in to help with a party my husband and I were hosting. After contacting a lovely lady and discussing what our needs were, she was efficient and effective in assisting us for our party. I can confess that she even gave me some great kitchen secrets that alone would have been worth having her help with our party.
I have not tried to sell any of our unused things just yet but I can only hope that my experience as a seller is as educational and pleasant as our experience finding our caterer on OXL. After taking the leap and reaching out through the site I can say that it is a great place to find quality and value through the competition and ease generated by an online marketplace.
