by Jason Medich

In an effort to benefit various non-profits and schools in need, Amazon and HopeVote are providing book lovers an easy way to raise money for great causes. Consumers looking to buy books from Amazon can now help a fundraiser with every purchase, through the site HopeVote. 1.5 to 3% of the total amount purchased will go towards a cause such as Food for the Hungry, Susan G. Komen, or The Humane Society. This fundraiser costs the consumers nothing extra.

To participate in the fundraiser, shoppers simply visit HopeVote, where a special link will take shoppers to the familiar Amazon storefront. Consumers looking for the top ten-bestselling books on Amazon can navigate to Any book purchases made after following the special link will the proceeds go towards the fundraiser, at no extra cost.

“As the most popular online bookstore, Amazon is known for its great prices and wide variety of books,” observes Clayton Somera, HopeVote Founder. “We want book lovers to know that they can make a difference and benefit organizations dedicated to helping others, simply by doing what they would regularly do, by buying a great book. The gratitude and appreciation from the recipients of the funds raised is immense.” For more information, visit
