Reports say Yemenis in the southern city of Jahfa are outraged over a recent incident where a group of US soldiers raided homes in the city for Ëœinspections.â„¢
On May 21, massive protests were held in the city, which is located in the southern province of Lahij.
Demonstrators expressed anger at the United States for the raids.
Meanwhile, Yemeni authorities have denied reports of the raids by the US soldiers.
The latest reports come as two people were killed in a US assassination drone strike in Yemenâ„¢s central province of Bayda on May 20.
A US killer drone also targeted a truck in the al-Mahfad region of Abyan Province on May 18. Local officials confirmed the death of four people.
Five people were also killed in two similar strikes in a mountainous area near the capital, Sanaâ„¢a, on May 16.
