US allies not excluded from spying program: Analyst

An American activist says the NSA surveillance program is not confined to the United States borders, but several countries, including US allies, have been targeted.

The US National Security Agency’s illegal surveillance is “not just within US borders,” Solomon Comissiong told Press TV on Thursday.

“We know that the US government has been spying upon even those who it calls allies,” said the author and social activist.

“Looking at Germany, looking at Brazil and these countries, their (US) dragnet of illegal surveillance is not just within the 300-plus million citizens of the United States. It’s literally throughout the entire globe,” Comissiong said.
