UK PM solution for Syria: stoke war

British Prime Minister David Cameron claims ending violence in Syria is not possible unless Syrian militants are better armed against the Syrian government forces.

Cameron said in a joint press conference with the US President Barrack Obama in Washington that the conflict in Syria has taken some 80,000 lives and that Å“no political progress unless the opposition is able to withstand the onslaught and put pressure on Assad”.

Cameron who also pledged to double Britainâ„¢s aid to the militants, however, did not mention the atrocities and the Å“onslaught” by the anti-government terrorists against innocent Syrians and army forces.

Britain supports Syrian rebels and wants the ouster of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad , by increasing arms deliveries to the militants.

Cameron was speaking after a footage emerged on the internet on Sunday showing a shocking foreign-backed militant in Syria cutting out the heart of a Syrian soldier and biting into it.

The militant has been identified by the New York-based Human Rights Watch as Abu Sakkar, a founder of Farouq Brigade, which is one of the key military arms of the Free Syrian Army group.

The latter is part of the Syrian National Coalition, which Britain recognizes as the representative of Syria.

Cameronâ„¢s anti-Syria accusations also came after the UN Independent Commission of Inquiry on Syria said earlier this month that they have Å“strong, concrete, suspicions” that militants used the nerve agent sarin, which has been classified as a weapon of mass destruction in UN Resolution 687, in Syria.

Cameron insisted that they want the so-called moderate opposition in Syria to be strengthened to get Damascus Å“to the table to agree a transitional government” based on an alleged public consensus.

He said Å“Syria’s history is being written in the blood of her people” stressing that the world Å“urgently needs to come together to bring the killing to an end”.

However, he did not mention how pouring more arms into Syrian terroristsâ„¢ hands will be helpful in ending that killing, including by the foreign-backed Farouq Brigade.
