London will host a key rally against the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by the Zionist Israeli regime on Saturday to mark the 65th anniversary of the Nakba Day.
The demonstration is backed by a coalition of British campaign groups including Palestine Solidarity Campaign, the Stop the War Coalition, Jews for Justice for Palestinians and Liberal Democrat Friends of Palestine as well as trade unions including Britainâ„¢s two largest unions, Unite and UNISON.
The rally, planned outside the houses of parliament, will call on the Zionist regime to Å“End the ongoing Nakba – Palestineâ„¢s catastrophe – 65 years on”.
The Nakba Day is marked annually worldwide to direct attentions to Palestiniansâ„¢ plight on 15 MAY when Zionists made their so-called declaration of independence in 1948.
The declaration, which created the current regime, came after Israeli forces forcibly evicted some 700,000 Palestinians from their homeland and razed nearly 500 Palestinian villages and towns.
The Saturday rally has been organized by Palestine Solidarity Campaign alongside another rally on May 15 outside the Downing Street.
