Ministers, including David Miliband, the Foreign Secretary, are set to come out fighting this week against growing demands for a EU treaty referendum. وزراء ، بمن فيهم ديفيد miliband ، وزير الخارجية ، وترد على الخروج من هذا الاسبوع القتال ضد المطالب المتزايدة لمعاهدة الاتحاد الاوروبى للاستفتاء.

The move follows intense pressure on Gordon Brown from members of his own party. الانتقال يلي ضغط على غوردون براون من اعضاء الحزب الذي ينتمي اليه. A campaign led by the Labour MP Ian Davidson, who said that up to a third of Labour MPs could back calls for an EU treaty, was joined by the former Europe minister, Keith Vaz, on Friday. حملة العمل بقيادة النائب ايان ديفيدسون ، من قال إن ما يصل الى ثلث نواب العمل ويمكن العودة يدعو الى وضع معاهدة الاتحاد الاوروبي ، وانضم اليه الوزير السابق اوروبا ، كيث فاز ، يوم الجمعة. He said: “We should not be afraid of actually putting this argument before the British people. وقال : "يجب علينا ان لا نخشى من طرح هذه الحجه في الواقع قبل الشعب البريطاني. We don’t need a referendum on the reformed treaty because we didn’t have one on the Nice Treaty or on Maastricht. ونحن لسنا في حاجة الى اجراء استفتاء بشأن اصلاح معاهدة لاننا لم نكن على واحد او على معاهدة نيس ماستريخت. But I think there’sa difference between need and desirability. ولكني اعتقد ان هناك فرق بين الحاجة والرغبة.
“I think once and for all we need to put this behind us by putting it to the British people. "اعتقد مرة والى الأبد نحن بحاجة الى وضع الينا من وراء هذا الطرح الى الشعب البريطاني. I am absolutely convinced that we will win any test of public opinion as to whether or not the British people want us in Europe.” وانا مقتنعه تماما اننا لن يفوزوا باي اختبار للرأي العام او ما اذا كان الشعب البريطاني لا تريد منا فى اوروبا. "
