‘IAEA fully monitors Iran N-activities’

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) says the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) monitors all the Islamic Republicâ„¢s nuclear energy activities.

Å“Iranâ„¢s activities which are related to [its] nuclear dossier are under the supervision of the IAEA and we will continue our path according to plans,” Fereydoun Abbasi told reporters on Wednesday.

The Iranian official further stated that Tehran has recently provided IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano with reports on the working capacity of its peaceful nuclear activities, adding, Å“There are no hidden issues in this regard.”

Å“Such issues as increasing [the number of] centrifuges as well as uranium enrichment have been all reported to the Agency,” Abbasi added.

The United States, the Israeli regime and some of their allies have been falsely accusing Iran of pursuing non-civilian objectives in its nuclear energy program.

Iran has strongly rejected the allegation, arguing that as a committed signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and a member of the IAEA, it is entitled to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

In addition, the IAEA has conducted numerous inspections of Iranâ„¢s nuclear facilities, but has never found any evidence showing that Tehranâ„¢s nuclear energy program has been diverted toward non-civilian objectives.
