Galloway MP lashes out at G8 agenda

British MP George Galloway slams the G8 summit agenda of tax avoidance and evasion.

British MP and founder of the Respect Party George Galloway has slammed the G8 summit agenda, saying they are Å“masters of tax avoidance and evasion”.

Gallowayâ„¢s comments came on an interview during an anti-G8 event as he explained why he opposes the G8â„¢s agenda, while also giving his opinion on the recent Bilderberg meeting.

Å“Itâ„¢s not their [G8] presence that Iâ„¢m opposed to. Itâ„¢s the agenda that theyâ„¢re following. They say that itâ„¢s going to be about tax, trade and transparency,” Galloway said in the interview, adding, Å“They are the masters of tax avoidance and evasion. They are the masters of some of the most notorious tax havens and shelters in the world”.

When asked about the recent secretive Bilderberg meeting that took place earlier this month in Watford, North-west London, Galloway agreed that if there was public money spent, there should have been transparency for the people of Britain to know what was done or said in the meeting.

Furthermore, Prime Minister David Cameron faced criticism for breaking his promise to lead a transparent government, after he refused to reveal what had been discussed at the shadowy Bilderberg meeting.
