Two men have come forward to claim they were abused by a British TV host who was murdered in Louisiana last week.
The pair made the claim after Scott Rogers, 52, a former teacher from Suffolk, was killed in Baton Rouge by his son-in-law and suspected former lover.
Local police said that it appeared that the man, named in US reports as Mathew Hodgkinson – had killed Around Town talkshow host Mr Rogers before turning the gun on himself in a failed suicide attempt.
Since his death, the two British men have appeared anonymously on radio in Louisiana to claim they were abused by Mr Rogers when they were young boys.
Iberville Sheriff Brett Stassi said his officers were aware of the allegations.
“As the noose started tightening the layers of the onion started peeling away, exposing him to what happened in the UK – it brought to light more to this man,” said Mr Stassi, according to the BBC.
