A court martial hearing has been held in Germany for two British troopers, who have admitted abusing Afghan civilians, including children, media outlets reported.
The trial was held in Sennelager, northwest Germany, it has been reported.
At the hearing, it was revealed that one of the troopers had racially abused an Afghan man, and the other pleaded guilty to indecent behaviour towards a child.
According to reports, one of the guilty troopers identified as ËœSoldier Xâ„¢ admitted that in December 2011 he pulled an Afghan boyâ„¢s hand towards his crotch and instructed him to Ëœtouch my special placeâ„¢.
ËœSoldier Xâ„¢ further admitted to insulting a different Afghan child between October 2011 and January 2012. He was cleared of forcing an Afghan girl to touch him on a separate occasion.
He pleaded guilty to ‘an act that is prejudicial to good order and service discipline.’
The second soldier, known as ËœSoldier Y,â„¢ admitted to being involved in photographing a grown Afghan man with a sign reading Å“Silly Paki” hung around his neck, between October 2011 and January 2012.
He pleaded guilty to a racially aggravated offense likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress under the Crime and Disorder Act.
The soldiers were granted anonymity on the grounds that identifying them could endanger them and their families.
