That has not stopped <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/usa\/456292-democrats-republicans-trump-assange-arrest\/\">some US politicians<\/a> from reviving the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/usa\/454644-mueller-probe-report-details\/\">recently debunked<\/a> specter of Russiagate, House Foreign Affairs chair Eliot Engel (D-New York) among them.<\/p>\n<p>After being criticized for this by RT America correspondent Dan Cohen, the committee majority tweeted from their official account that the First Amendment of the US Constitution <em>\u201cprotects free expression, even for Russian propaganda outlets like the one you work for. It doesn\u2019t protect criminals who weaponize stolen information.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"rtcode\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The first amendment protects free expression, even for Russian propaganda outlets like the one you work for.
