Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted yet another complete lie by claiming that Fox News host Laura Ingraham had accused her of \u201cdoing the Latina thing\u201d by saying her own name with an accent when Ingraham said no such thing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If by \u2018the Latina thing,\u2019 she means I actually do the work instead of just talk about it, then yeah, I\u2019m doing \u2018the Latina thing,\u2019\u201d tweeted Cortez.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnless of course she\u2018s talking about being multilingual, which we know isn\u2019t a \u2018Latina thing.\u2019 It\u2019s a \u201821st century\u2019 thing,\u201d she added, suggesting there was a racist dimension to the attack.<\/p>\n

Except that it wasn\u2019t an attack at all \u2013 Ingraham said she thought the way Cortez said her own name was \u201cnice\u201d and the claim that AOC was \u201cdoing the Latina thing\u201d was said by her guest, Joe Digenova.<\/p>\n

When watching the clip, it immediately becomes clear that the discussion is not some kind of bigoted attack on Cortez.<\/p>\n
