It has gone from an anything goes free speech advocacy platform, to an hysterical liberal madhouse. Anyone that Twitter does not agree with is now getting their blue verification badge revoked. The characteristic blue check has changed from a stamp that ensures other users that you are, indeed, who you purport to be, to a we-endorse-your-approved-left-of-centre-speech-so-now-you-are-verified, blue tick. That is not enough for Twitter, however, now everyone that they do not agree with is set to be kicked off their platform. It just goes to show that Leftists abhor freedom and are the true suppressors of free speech.
