On April 3rd, a news report was submitted to virtually all news-media, concerning the falsehood of a certain CNN story that allegedly explained why the U.S. is sending F-15 fighter-jets to Iceland. The CNN report placed it into context of U.S.-Russian relations, and falsely represented Russia\u2019s and America\u2019s respective roles regarding the change of government that had occurred in Ukraine in February 2014, and regarding also the reasons for the breakaway then of Crimea from Ukraine, which resulted from that Ukrainian change-of-government.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Of all news media \u2014 including all of the major ones and all of the major \u2018alternative news\u2019 sites \u2014 only the following five media published this news report about a clearly false news report (which my story, as you will see, documented to be false, with links that went directly or indirectly \u2014 via links within those news stories \u2014 to the ultimate sources), which CNN had issued; and none<\/i>\u00a0 <\/span>of the others reported, at all<\/i>, about CNN\u2019s lies. Here are the five:<\/span><\/p>\n

All of these five are, obviously, not major-media (meaning not big-audience) news-sites, as CNN is.<\/span><\/p>\n

The editors and producers, at especially the major \u2018news\u2019 media, receive, each day, hundreds to thousands of news stories submitted from independent outside sources \u2014 virtually no \u2018news\u2019 medium publishes or broadcasts only<\/i>\u00a0 <\/span>in-house-generated news-reports. Their selection of what to publish (or broadcast) is what determines which news you see, and which you don\u2019t. Those people are the gatekeepers, which let their audience see some news, but exclude the rest. How important is it to know the extent to which CNN lies for propagandistic purposes? Only those five small media thought it\u2019s important enough to report. <\/span><\/p>\n

Why are the competitors to CNN (especially all of the other<\/i>\u00a0 <\/span>major-media news sites, besides CNN) not interested in exposing even blatant and easy-to-document lies from CNN, which \u2014 according to the basic theory of competition in economics \u2014 they would all<\/i>\u00a0 <\/span>be very eager to do, and would<\/i>\u00a0 <\/span>do? (That\u2019s also the theory of \u2018the free press\u2019, at stake here; that theory is based upon the economic theory of competition.)<\/span><\/p>\n

What does this finding show about economic theory? (And about \u2018the free press\u2019?) (And, even, about the alleged intention \u2014 or seriousness \u2014 of \u2018alternative news\u2019 sites, to expose fraudulent \u2018news\u2019 in the major or \u2018mainstream\u2019 news-media?)<\/span><\/p>\n

Judge it all for yourself:\u00a0 <\/span>Here<\/i>\u00a0 <\/span>is the news-report that virtually all news-media refused to publish, but that had been offered, to all of them, to publish, free of charge, and they chose<\/i>\u00a0 <\/span>not to:<\/span><\/p>\n

On Saturday April 2nd, CNN headlined, \u201cU.S. F-15s Deployed to Iceland,\u201d<\/span><\/a> and Zachary Cohen opened:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Demonstrating its commitment to a \u2018free’ and \u2018secure’\u00a0Europe, the United States deployed 12 F-15C Eagles and\u00a0approximately 350 airmen to Iceland and the Netherlands on\u00a0Friday, the Air Force announced.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

U.S. aircraft units from the 131st Fighter Squadron at Barnes\u00a0Air National Guard Base in Massachusetts and the 194th\u00a0Fighter Squadron at Fresno Air National Guard Base in\u00a0California will support NATO air surveillance missions in\u00a0Iceland and conduct flying training in the Netherlands.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

The F-15s are not the only package of American fighters\u00a0being sent to Europe in an effort to deter further Russian\u00a0aggression in the region.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Next to that text appears a\u00a0video<\/span><\/a>\u00a0from Christiane Amanpour, \u201cAmanpour in Focus,\u201d which opens with her saying:<\/span><\/p>\n

Of all the crises plaguing Europe right now\u00a0\u2014 Grexit, Brexit, the migrant crisis, the economy even still \u2014 the worst, by far, is the Ukraine-Russia crisis, which still has the potential to flare into open warfare beyond the borders of Ukraine; and who would have thought that in two thousand [inaudible]teen, we would still hear President Vladimir Putin sometimes raise the nuclear option. This extraordinary state of affairs has come from Ukrainians protesting for their independence\u00a0\u2014 they saw off one President, and they elected another one, Petro Poroshenko.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the actual history behind all of that:<\/span><\/p>\n

Back in February 2014, Obama\u00a0overthrew<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(please click on the link if you have any doubt about anything that\u2019s being said here) the democratically elected President of Russia\u2019s neighbor Ukraine, in an\u00a0extremely bloody coup<\/span><\/a>, which was\u00a0at least a year in being set-up<\/span><\/a>, and the rationale for this \u2018democratic uprising\u2019 was that that actually democratically elected President was corrupt \u2014 but no one mentioned that all of Ukraine\u2019s post-Soviet leaders have been<\/i>\u00a0 corrupt. Obama\u2019s agent Victoria Nuland had instructed the U.S. Ambassador in Ukraine whom to get appointed to take over control of Ukraine as soon as the coup would be completed<\/span><\/a>, and that person did become appointed \u2014 and top officials of the EU were shocked to find out<\/span><\/a> that it had been a coup. The \u201carmed militias in ski masks\u201d that Obama referred to<\/span><\/a> in\u00a0the coup<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(and in the\u00a0\u2018Anti Terrorist Operation\u2019<\/span><\/a>\u00a0afterward), were actually his, not Viktor Yanukovych\u2019s (the President whom Obama overthrew); they were America\u2019s mercenaries<\/span><\/a>, not either Yanukovych\u2019s or Russia\u2019s operatives as he pretends they were. And, now, after\u00a0the extremely bloody civil war<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that resulted in Ukraine when\u00a0the regions that had voted overwhelmingly for the President whom Obama overthrew<\/span><\/a>\u00a0rejected<\/i>\u00a0 Obama\u2019s coup-regime and refused to be ruled by it, Ukraine is\u00a0even more corrupt than it ever was<\/span><\/a>, but, for some mysterious reason, the United States isn\u2019t overthrowing the post<\/i>-coup government. Obama had gotten what he basically wanted out of his coup: Russia\u2019s ability to pipeline its gas into the EU is now severely hampered by the necessity to establish alternate pipeline-routes.\u00a0Ukraine is crucial to strangulating Russia, because most of Russia\u2019s gas-pipelines into Europe run through its formerly friendly neighbor, Ukraine, which now is rabidly anti-Russian. So: the coup and ethnic-cleansing<\/span><\/a> and all the rest have been just a part of America\u2019s effort to strangulate Russia<\/span><\/a>; and all of the maimed and dead people are merely collateral damage \u2014 no concern of Obama.<\/span><\/p>\n

Obama lies about Russia and Ukraine and Crimea<\/a><\/span>; and, the same aristocracy that control the U.S. government, control also the U.S. \u2018news\u2019 media, such as CNN; so, this is America\u2019s \u2018free press\u2019<\/span><\/a>, in America\u2019s \u2018democracy\u2019<\/span><\/a>: nonstop lies and propaganda, to fool the suckers to elect their candidates.<\/span><\/p>\n

Consequently: when this CNN \u2018news\u2019 story said, \u201cThe F-15s are not the only package of American fighters\u00a0being sent to Europe in an effort to deter further Russian\u00a0aggression in the region<\/i>,\u201d what was the source of the term, \u201caggression,\u201d that was being used against Russia, there? It was, now, under Obama, the official U.S. government term to refer to Russia: for example, in Obama\u2019s National Security Strategy 2015<\/i>, he had used that term on 17 of the 18 times<\/span><\/a>, when \u2018aggression\u2019 was being charged, in that document, against a foreign nation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, it\u2019s not Russia that surrounds America with over 300 military bases in 185 foreign countries; it is the United States that surrounds Russia with over 300 military bases in 185 foreign countries<\/span><\/a>; and which, on top of this, has the nerve to accuse Russia as being the \u2018aggressor,\u2019 when Russia is merely defending Crimeans (and Russia\u2019s own naval base) from America\u2019s takeover of Ukraine \u2014 and allows Crimeans to plebiscite on re<\/i>joining Russia after the U.S. coup in Ukraine. (Even Western-sponsored polls in Crimea showed overwhelming support among them for rejoining Russia<\/span><\/a>.) To add insult to injury, America then organizes global economic sanctions against Russia, for, essentially, defending Crimeans, and for defending itself, against American aggression<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

And, then, the American President has the arrogant audacity to proclaim that \u201cthe United States is and remains the one indispensable nation,\u201d<\/span><\/a> meaning that not only Russia, but every<\/i>\u00a0 other country, is \u2018dispensable<\/i>.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s the official line. And America\u2019s \u2018news\u2019 media promote it, unquestioningly (as if it\u2019s not outrageous<\/i>).<\/span><\/p>\n

And, if you ever wondered why people like this<\/span><\/a> get promoted at major \u2018news\u2019 media, while people like this<\/span><\/a> get the boot and are blackballed by them, you now know.<\/span><\/p>\n
