Young children at great risk for brain tumors, behavioral disorders from cell phones, wifi<\/h3>\n

Media outlets across the nation are covering back to school activities, including fresh marketing directed at children as young as five \u2014 when most start Kindergarten.<\/p>\n

Whereas some 80% of teens aged 11 and up have cell phones, many of which have smart phones, it is becoming common for ever younger children to carry phones too.<\/p>\n

CBS in Detroit<\/a>\u00a0reported:<\/p>\n

Some carriers, like Sprint with its \u201cWeGo\u201d device, are marketing cell phones to kids as young as five: \u201cIt\u2019s not uncommon to see, really, 2 and 3-year-olds becoming quite fluent with using a touch tablet or a touch device,\u201d DuBravac told CBS News. \u201cSo by the time they turn 6, 7, 8, they\u2019re very comfortable with the mobile devices.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Many parents feel reassured by being able to communicate with their children, no matter how young, to verify their safety and coordinate transportation home from school.<\/p>\n

However, that sense of safety is a false illusion.<\/p>\n

As\u00a0Melissa Melton previously reported<\/a>, there has been a\u00a0concerted effort to market cells phones, tablets and computer devices at the youngest<\/strong>\u00a0and most vulnerable in our society \u2014 with a blatant disregard for their safety:<\/p>\n

But does the average parent who does this even realize that studies have shown people who use cell phones before the age of 20 have a five times higher chance of developing malignant brain tumors?<\/p>\n

Do they know that the country of Belgium has banned all cell phones manufactured and marketed towards children age seven and under because the International Agency for Research on Cancer cited a potential increase in brain cancer risk back in 2011?<\/p>\n

Did they realize that the United Kingdom has told its schools to discourage students under 16 from using cell phones due to health risks citing a scientific report which states that children \u201chave smaller heads, thinner skulls, and higher tissue conductivity than adults\u201d so \u201cthey may absorb more energy from a mobile phone than adults\u201d?<\/p>\n

Were they aware that the International Commission for Electromagnetic Safety has confirmed \u201cthe existence of non-thermal effects of electromagnetic fields on living matter\u201d which includes \u201cblood brain barrier changes, learning and behavioral effects, changes in anti-oxidant enzyme activities, DNA and biological damage\u201d?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Simply put,\u00a0studies have already found that frequent cell phone use<\/a>\u00a0can increase your chances of a brain tumor, while the still developing skull and brain of a young child is known to be more vulnerable.<\/p>\n

Exposure to wifi also poses risks.<\/p>\n
