Washington blamed victims for Kiev’s crimes. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki turned truth on its head.<\/div>\n

She “condemn(ed) the outbreak of violence caused by pro-Russian separatists.” They’re courageous freedom fighters. <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
They’re Ukraine’s best and bravest. They reject Kiev putschists. They want fundamental freedoms everyone deserves. They deserve universal support.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“Why are people protesting in eastern Ukraine,” asked Paul? “Because they do not believe the government that came to power after the US-backed uprising in February is legitimate.” <\/div>\n
