A British Conservative MP and his wife have abused their lesbian housekeeper to the brink of suicide when they groped her as they proposed a threesome, an employment tribunal has heard.
The couple, known only as Mr and Mrs P, allegedly molested their middle-aged employee and tried to perform a sex act on her as she sat drinking a beer, The Daily Mail reported.
She said she Ëœhad no optionâ„¢ but to resign after being kicked out of the house, Ëœthreatened unreasonably with disciplinary actionâ„¢ and pressured into a compromise agreement.
The tribunal judge heard the housekeeper – who had recently split from her partner – was invited to have a drink in the coupleâ„¢s lounge before the alleged assault in August last year.
She said she reluctantly joined them, adding: Å“Mr P was standing near the fireplace to the right of the sofa and his wife was standing near the television directly opposite”.
Å“A few moments after I sat on the sofa. Mr P came and sat down next to me, quite close so I moved up. Mrs P then came and sat on the floor between his legs. I felt very uncomfortable with Mr P sitting so close to me and opted to sit on the edge of the sofa”, she added.
Å“Following a short conversation, Mrs P placed her drink on a tray and began to French kiss Mr P who was sat next to me”, said the housekeeper.
Å“I was extremely embarrassed and looked away out the windows to my left as I really did not know what to do. I hoped that they would soon stop.
Å“Instead, I felt a hand touch me in my crotch.
Å“I was extremely shocked and jumped at the feel of the hand in this place and saw that it was Mrs Pâ„¢s hand reaching into my crotch. She was rubbing it and feeling me.
Å“I shot back into the back of the sofa and as soon as Iâ„¢d done this, Mr P then proceeded to place his hand on the top of my thigh.
Å“I was very shocked and scared by what was happening and shot to my feet. I said “Iâ„¢m sorry, Iâ„¢m not into this sort of thing” and I quickly left the room.”
She added: Å“As I left, I could hear Mrs P giggling. They both clearly thought it very funny but I was extremely upset and scared and went directly into my room and I barricaded my door.
Å“I didnâ„¢t know what was going to happen. My heart was pounding and I didnâ„¢t sleep that night.”
She added that the MP would appear around the house naked and she did not think it was accidental.
Å“I felt considerably low and considered suicide as life did not seem worth living. I was without a job or a home through no fault of my own”, the poor housekeeper said.
