In July, 31-year-old Hamsa Jamal Jbar Al-Jizani was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison for repeated rape of her 10-year-old daughter and child pornography crimes.
The supreme court now softens the sentence to three years in prison. According to the judgment, the woman abused her daughter while photographing and filming the assaults.
The girl has testified that the mother did “disgusting things” to her, and took “disgusting photos”. She is now placed in a foster home.
The woman has denied the crimes, despite films and photos documenting the abuse.
If she would have performed the actions, it must have happened under the influence of black magic, sorcery or hypnosis, as she has no memory of it, she says.
